Staying in La Marsa was a great decision for our short Tunis adventure! We spent two days experiencing the city center, but it was a short, inexpensive taxi ride to and from, and it was nice to return to the quiet beauty each evening. The beach is lovely and safe, and the apartment is spacious, secure, and comfortable. Francesco was in great communication and was helpful before and during the trip with advice on everything from changing money to restaurants and beyond. Grazie mille, Francesco!
My friends and I had a truly amazing experience in Francesco's apartment; it's clean, there's more than enough room, the location is perfect, and it has everything you need for a nice vacation in Tunisia. The apartment is located right on the beach with a nice club nearby, and it's right by a downtown area with great food, cafes, a mall, and grocery stores. Francesco himself is a standup individual who made sure our time at his place was enjoyable. Francesco and the apartment both earn five stars from my two friends and I.

Francesco's home was a bit off the beaten path, but once you figure out the bus system, it was easy to find our way around. The apt is near a small grocery store and a few restaurants. His home is on the 5th floor with a beautiful view of the cityscape. We didn't cook much, but if you do, he has pretty much any appliance you will need. The home is decorated very uniquely with his personal art. Overall, was wonderful.
We had a great time at Francescos Apartment. We travelled with two kids and a baby and the place was perfect for us. It is very big and comfortabel and has a beautiful terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything we needed.
The neighborhood is also very nice. You can reach the center of Rome in about 30 Minutes. There is a bus stop nearby that takes you to the metro station from there it is only 4 stops to the center.
In the neighborhood there are wonderful shops like bakerys and a very good ice cream place. There is also a market nearby. We enjoyed it very much not to live in the touristic center of Rome.
Communication with Francesco was perfect and he was very helpful with everything.
We would definitely stay there again!
Thanks a lot!
Francesco is a very very nice host. I could call him whenever I needed him and he did everything he could to help me. He doesn't live far from the appartment, which makes it quite easy.
The Beach appartment is very comfortable and has everything you need to have a nice stay in Marsa Plage. The beach is a few meters away. Sometimes I let my kids play in the street while I went to enjoy the see around the corner. The place is very quiet, there are kids in the neighborhood so that my boys (8 and 10 years old) could easily find friends to play street soccer. The supermarket is very near, there are a lot of restaurants and the train station to Tunis center (about half an hour) is also very near. From La Marsa it's not far from the wonderful Sidi Bou Said which can be reached by walking, train or taxi. We had breakfast on the balcony which has exactly the view like on the picture. To have a holiday in the middle of Tunis, to get in touch with the Tunesian population and at the same time enjoy the sea, it's an ideal place. I would warmly recommend it.
We had a fantastic journey, and much of it is on behalf of Francesco's hospitality. His apartments are huge and very nice, with lots of modern artwork on the walls. We had a rented car, and we were always lucky enough to find a couple of available parking spots down the lane. Rome in October is incomparable, and we were really happy at Francesco.
Francesco's place was really nice, everything I expected. The only thing that wasn't great about the experience was that the one shower was extremely difficult to figure out how to use. Francesco wasn't there when we arrived as we were greeted by his friend who spoke poor English. That wasn't the best surprise but it all worked out fine.
Extraordinary and interesting design, perfect terrace with flowers and wi-fi included) But not very close to the metro station - about 5-10 minutes by bus. It was the only inconvenience during the stay. We were happy to stay at Francesco apart in Rome!
Francesco rented the apartment months ago. He is a great guest.
