Love litterature, anthropology, travel, walking, free camping, my friends, my lover, eat and drink good wine.
We stayed in this beautiful birds nest as a couple and had a wonderful time! The apartment is right at the top of the building and has fantastic views (although you do need to climb 6 flights of stairs to earn them) and the location is very central, in a charming district and very accessible. Laure left very detailed information on where the best wine, cheese and bread could all be found and was a very attentive host.
Would very much recommend this apartment for a romantic weekend in Paris!
What a wonderful 3weeks we had at Laure's apartment. The booking process was simple.Laure was friendly, prompt and helpful in all our communications and gave clear instructions on how to get there. The flat itself was in a great position in Montmartre, close to 2 metro stops, plenty of good restaurants, cafes and shops on our doorstep.Being onthe sixth floor(no lift),we had wonderful views from the windows and a lovely cool breeze in the evenings after warm days.Loved hearing the gentle toll of the church bells!!The flat was clean and tidy and had a peaceful ambience, which was nice to return to after busy days in (website hidden) had all we needed for a very pleasant stay.
Laure kindly left us a few provisions and a lovely letter which, as well as providing all the necessary information about our accommodation, gave us tips on things to do and places to try in the local area. She also provided some maps, brochures and books to give us a few ideas for our trip.Very helpful, as this was our first trip to Paris.
I can highly recommend Laure's apartment as a great place to stay in Paris. We'll be back!!
We loved the light filled apartment, it was aesthetically pleasing, clean and tidy, even better than expected, the views from the 6th floor are well worth the effort. It was good exercise to climb the stairs each day. Great location, it has wonderful access to the cafes and restaurant life of Montmartre. The metro is just around the corner which makes the rest of Paris accessible. Throughly enjoyed our stay, thanks.
It was great to be surrounded by French literature. The location and views are great. The apartment was comfortable, simple and thankfully free of modern things except Wifi. It is on the sixth floor, and this means you get very little street noise, you get the birds singing but you need to relatively healthy. We where there during good weather so could leave the windows open.
We had a lovely time staying in your appartment. How nice it is to have a home away from home.

What a beautiful abode in the charming Montmartre neighborhood. Laure was such a gracious and helpful host letting me in on all the neighborhood shops--I can officially say that every single artisanal baguette made in America will pale drastically. The space was perfect, with beautiful views and sounds of church bells ringing and birds chirping. Takes you away to a different century (but with all the modern necessities!) thank you for such an enjoyable stay! MERCI BEAUCOUP.
It was the first time for us to use airbnb and we decided to go for laura's flat due to the location and the nice view we saw on the pictures.
We were welcomed by ana lena as laura was on vacation.
Very nice host!
The flat is very nice and you would feel comfortable as it is your own one,
i liked the kitchen and the wooden style of the whole flat.
The location is superb, with all the shops cafes, supermarkets,
metro stations just some meters away a good point to explore the whole city. thank you!
Laure's appartment is a little treasure in Montmartre - overlooking the city, in the middle of the most charming area of Paris. It is a birds nest which provides the calm to resource. When you open the curtains in the morning and return to your cosy warm bed you overlook the city. A true delight to wake up like this.
It is light clean and breathes a serene atmosphere - there are plenty of wonderful french classics of literature. wifi works and Laure left nice tips for the area and good guide books for Paris....
When we arrived there was even a baguette on the table and some nice spreads to have a true french petit dejeuner. There is a lovely fireplace we did not use - to equip the place with a protection for the fire sparks and some wood would make it perfect.
I can only recommend this lovely spot! Thanks Laure and Ana Lena for being wonderful hosts. A bientot!
