Nous sommes Parisiens, aimant voyager...
L'appartamento è grande e in 5 siamo stati molto comodi.
Nice and tipical parisian flat near Sacre Coeur with young and friendly hosts.
The flat is spacious and clean. One big living room with integrated kitchen, big bathroom with huge mirrors, toilet, small bedroom and a big bedroom. Windows on the roof make it very bright. Through the windows in the big living room, you have a view over the rooftops of Paris. You can also see the top of Sacre Coeur.
Yes, it is a 6th floor, but you get used to the stairs and do some fitness.
Towels, washing machine, TV, Wifi, hair dryer...it's everything there.
The metro station is just a few steps away and if you cross the street you will find a very nice "Pâtisserie", where you can get one of the best croissants I've ever tasted. There is also a supermarket just a few minutes away.
The area could be in the first moment a little bit scary, because there a many many people walking in the street. There are nut sellers in the middle of the street and its a bit noisy, but in the flat you don't hear anything and it's possible to relax. It's a really living area, but you will notice, that everybody is friendly and they help you whenever they can.
I can highly recommend the flat and I would try to get there again, if I visit Paris in future. Thank you very much and au revoir!
A really lovely place to stay in for a week, clean and so close to the metro that links you to everywhere you need to go. Definitely recommend staying here!
We stay in Paris 5 days at Lola and Sebastien´s place. The house was very nice and beautiful as per on the pictures and it has all kind of facilities such us coffee machine, hair dryer, towels,...
The worst part was the neibourhood, this street and in particular the main entrance of the building was full of mens every afternoon-night drinking and smoking pot and also prostitutes around.
We were 4 people, the flat was spacious enough for all of us.
The apartment is on the 6th floor, which may be a problem if you have lots of luggage. It was ok for us.
It's very near to a subway station - no more than 50 meters.
There is also a Carrefoure shop nearby.
There are 2 bedrooms (1 with double bed and wardrobe, 1 with single bed) and a common living with room with a big table and a sofa.
The kitchen is fully equipped and you can cook with no problems.
We had a very pleasant stay, Sebastian and Lola were kind enough to let us leave our luggage in their apartment, before we could check in.
We had a great time in Paris in Lola`s and Sebastien`s apartment. The apartment is really comfortable and spacious.
We broke 2 glasses unwittingly - but it was not a problem for our hosts. We didn`t have to pay for it. Thank you!
Our stay in Paris was very nice, we spent 5 days in Sebastien and Lola's appartment, the appartment was confortable. We didnt get to meet Lola but Sebastian was vey helpful with us. I think that people who rent this appartment should know that is very hard to get the baggage up six floors. People should also know that the neibourhood is not the best for tourism, there are people at night drinking and smoking pot outside the main entrance of the building and there are a lot of prostitutes around. Every night when we arrived, we were afraid of people in the street, but I have to say that we never had any problem at all. Metro is less than 50 meters from the building, the stop is called Marcadet poissioners. There is a supermarket nearby.
I stayed in the apartment for five nights in January 2013 with a friend. Everything was perfect. The place is really nice and big for Paris, with a nice big table, living room and kitchen, plus a bigger bedroom and a smaller one. Very charmingly decorated and a great view from the 6th floor. Communication with the hosts (who live in the same building) was easy and smooth. Lively neighbourhood, and the Metro entrance is very close, with a fast connection into the center. Would definitely recommend the place.
The apartment was comfortable and it was easy to communicate with L and S. We had a good time with our 7-month-old, and found the apartment more than acceptable for our week long stay. The neighborhood is alive and interesting, and we found ample places for food and shopping. We got good exercise climbing those six flights of stairs! The view is great and we liked the wood floors, though they creak a lot in the bedroom and when you're walking around at night. The nearby metro stop is very close, and it is very easy to access all major parts of the city from there. Thanks for a great stay!
We had a lovely few days staying in Lola and Sebastians apartment. Sebastian was very kind and helpful, letting us check in earlier than anticipated and also allowing us to leave our luggage for the last day.
The apartment is really lovely and has the most gorgeous light throughout the day. It is very much a home away from home. It is spacious and well furnished.
Other reviews commented on the area being not very desirable, but the apartment is a 30 second walk from the metro which goes straight to the centre, so you do not need to worry! There are a lot of stairs but the climb is very much worth it, and it was good exercise to burn off all the pastries that we ate! I would stay in the apartment again in a heartbeat and recommend it to any of my friends.
