Happy gregarious explorer who is lucky enough to work in IT contracting (test manager) and so get a bit of time in between gigs to travel. Have been to Greece, France, London, Amsterdam, Thailand a few times :) This trip I hub through Hong Kong a few days, then Italy for 3.5 weeks, then back home to Vancouver and Vernon for a month (I'm a Candian living in NZ for the past 11 years).
I am new to this site so anything you need to ask, please do so.
Hmm 5 things I can't live without... hot milky tea, downtime (preferably with books or architecture magazines!), creative stuff, friends and family (should I have put them first? of course they're first but this is stream of consciousness), and travel...
I'm a very quiet guest and very unlikely to go out late at night, let alone come back drunk. Prefer quiet places and mince about at night so as to not wake anyone myself. Friendly, clean, will be re-connecting with various dear friends I left behind when I moved to NZ. Went to UBC. Miss Granville Island like crazy (my home away from home when I went to Uni), can't wait to get to Lighthouse park again, taste Ethiopian food.
Ask any questions! :)
PS the above was written for my last trip where I met and made lasting friends with various airbnb hosts. This time I'm up to Vancouver to see my family and staying in Sydney for the first time ever, on the way back. Thanks!
