Carey was welcoming and accomodating. Her place is perfect for 1-2 people, and very well decorated. The location was actually my favorite part of Carey's place located just far enough from Times Square but yet in walking distance to many of NYC's other attractions. And there are so many good bars and restraunts in the surrounding blocks. If I were making another trip to NYC, I would definitely consider staying at Carey's again.
Carey is an excellent host! Very polite, really down to earth, easy going person and the apartment is very nice, well located, exactly like the announcement . I highly recommend! :-D
Carey is an excellent host. Her appartment is unique & perfectly located just a few blocks from the best view of the city! I had a wonderful trip & will book with Carey again. She communicated well & we exchanged keys in person. She even answered some questions, gave some directions & had books about the city laid out for me. She was kind & responded when I had a question during my stay. The neighborhood is nice & I felt very safe. I would highly recommend staying at Carey's & plan on doing so in the near future!
We had a perfect visit to NYC. Carey worked with us via text as we arrived a little later than anticipated thanks to traffic. She met us right away, walked us thru the apartment, left us the keys. All went smoothly. The apartment was in a perfect location for our needs. Everything was clean and comfortable. Her apartment overlooks a quiet courtyard so despite the location in the heart of Hell's Kitchen I was shocked at how quiet it was at night. We even slept with the window open and woke to birds singing, not sirens. There is a parking garage right next door and I would recommend using if you are driving. We will stay here again if the place is available.
This is a really lovely studio - plenty of space with separate small kitchen, nice bathroom, and a delightful quiet outlook onto the back gardens of neighbouring houses. I loved the decoration as well, lots of personal touches that felt like a home away from home. All that and only a few blocks from Times Square, so could not be more convenient. Everything went smoothly for arrival and departure.
Carey is a good host: she is responsive and wants her visitors to have a good experience. The apartment is clean, very well located and exactly as shown in the pictures.
Carey's place is just as pictured. It is cute, colorful, cheery and clean. My friend Heather fell in love with the sofa and hogged it for the weekend (the two minutes I got to sit on it, I enjoyed it and understood her feelings of adoration). The bed was comfy as well and Carey provides plenty of pillows !! The sun and the birds greeted us each morning and it is quite quiet. The neighborhood seems fine and the location is really ideal, close to food, Times Square, Broadway theaters, and Central Park. I would stay here again and highly recommend.
Carey was available when I needed her and provided her Wi-Fi password on request.
It was a real pleasure to meet Carey, she is a very nice and friendly person!!!! we recommand her!!!! we wish all the best in her travel!!!!!
Carey is such a nice person, and a great guest!
Carey is a very very nice person, very friendly, we wish all the best in the rest of her travel!!!!! best regard!!!
Responsive and fantastic guests.
Carey was a real joy to have around our home, and her stay exemplifies what one would want an Airbnb guest to be. When she was around the house, the conversations with her were lively and entertaining. She was courteous and respectful of the house, and was all in all a great pleasure to have around. I hope that her trip to Ashland was only the first of many, and we would love to welcome her back to our house as a guest and a friend.
Carey was great guest and fun to have around. She had a whirlwind trip down to Louisville for the theater festival, and I think had a great time seeing a lot of her actor friends while she was here. But she still took the time to make friends with us an our cats. She was such a pleasure to host, and we hope we might host her again.
