I am a mom and artist. Originally from London, England; I have been in California for 12 years and live on the property with my two very young children. I love my role as host and go to great effort to ensure a lovely experience for my guests.

Our stay was lovely, everything as promised. Our son loved having a horse and chickens nearby and being able to go swimming in the fun pool everyday. Bed is super comfy, kitchen has everything we needed. Amy is a wonderful host. Hopefully we can come back soon!
Thank you! Christian & family
The pool house was very comfortable and spacious, just as described, and it was really nice to go for a swim in the mornings before setting out. We had a great stay and would definitely come back. Thanks Amy!
What a great welcome . My sons arrived a few days before me and Amy had put out a fruit bowl which was so needed and appreciated. Everything we needed with a 1 year old was there , lots of room to move, Internet for the adults, swimming pool was heated. We could walk around the local parks. Just like home minus the lawn mowing.
My stay in the Cabin was just as relaxing and restful as in the other house on Amy's property.
The lawn makes it feel like you're staying in a private park. I got to know my other AIRBNB neighbors and everyone seemed to be having a great experience like me.
Clean, quiet, cozy - this unique setting is a perfect retreat.
Everything about staying at Amy's little ranch in the city is ideal. It's so quiet, so comfortable, so relaxing. The house is bright and airy and spacious. The grounds are full of nature and lots of little spaces to relax and rejuvenate. Amy's kids are adorable, she's a relaxed and accommodating host, staying here feels like being part of a small community. I couldn't be happier and I will return as quickly as possible.
We had a fantastic visit to LA, staying at Amy's wonderful home. The home was well equipped and our kids especially liked the pool, horse and chickens. It was well located close to major freeways, for easy access to explore Southern Calfornia. One of our best family vacations!
An oasis escape for those wanting great access to the best of LA.The salt water pool is hard to resist.
Amy was a wonderful host and her cabin was awesome. The area as well, was excellent... peaceful, and quiet with little to no traffic. With my rental, getting around in either the Glendale or Burbank communities was extremely easy.
All in all, my first airbnb experience at her place was an incredible one.
I loved my stay at O'Leary's cottage. The cabin is very simple and clean. It's a really relaxing space to spend some time and get a good night's sleep. The kitchen has just the right stuff for quick little meals or some tea or coffee. The whole property is great as well. I really enjoyed spending time outside on the lawn or in the hammock and going for jogs or walks on the horse trail which you can access through the back gate.
Amy is great as well. She's accommodating and easy going. I have nothing but good things to say about this place and Amy and i'll definitely be back here whenever I'm in LA and it's available.
The pool house was a really great space in a really nice quiet area. You feel like you're in the country, but you are really close to Hollywood, Burbank, and Downtown. The area is very nice and there are a lot of horses and riders.
The accommodation was very spacious and Amy was very nice. There are three rental accommodations on the property and the pool house is the most central one next to the pool and hot tub. I wasn't able to use the pool as I was there to work, but other guests used it and it looked like a lot of fun.
The unit is nice and bright and contains a small kitchen (not much freezer space as I realized too late), a living room with TV, and a big bathroom.
The front door is completely glass, which I didn't realize when I booked the unit. I didn't mind so much, but I took my dog with me and he was antsy every time he saw people walking by and so that wasn't ideal.
The only other issue I had was with the cable and the internet, which went down a lot, most of the time in the evening. Amy has a sheet that says to contact her if you have an issue with the internet, but because it was night when it went down, I thought it would be rude to send a message in the evening for help.
Overall, I had a really great experience. The property is gorgeous, the unit is well decorated, and the location is excellent. I would recommend anyone visiting Los Angeles to stay at this property. The location is great and I was able to get to most places in Los Angeles very quickly, with minimal bad traffic.
Amy was here to receive the Hero Award at the Airbnb Open Conference and I was so flattered to be able to host her. She is clearly deserving of the acknowledgment because she exudes warmth and thoughtfulness. I was so pleased we had some time to talk and that I got to know her a bit. I can highly recommend her to any host wanting to meet one of the best hosts and guests here on Airbnb.
Amy was a very accommodating guest! As I accepted her reservation at the last minute as she'd been let down and in return she accommodated me being able to pop in and out and use my office! Which made it all possible. Communication was relaxed. And she arranged for a cleaner to come in afterwards so when I returned the flat it was immaculate. Very much in the spirit of Airbnb, as I am discovering!
A lovely guest. Polite with a real appreciation for rental spaces. Every interaction was a pleasure. She's one of the reasons we do this, it is such a great way to meet others.
Amy was a great guest! I would have her and her family back anytime. She took care of the house nicely and did a great job cleaning before our return. I recommend her as a guest.
Amy sweetly checked into our apartment, making a "put-together" impression, even though she needed the place immediately because she was leaving her husband. We felt bad for her, told her we're right next door if she needed anything.. She accepted the bottle of wine we offered, our DVD player we installed for her son's kiddie films. She asked for cleaning stuff & a vase which we supplied. She declined our offer to have our housekeeper clean weekly. Amy left her infant daughter in a pool of urine on my newly upholstered sofa (where she fed her, so spilled formula on top of urine). No cleaning attempted. (We frequently have foster dogs- when accidents happen, they are easily cleaned up if you may the effort.-- or ask us to since we live adjacent). Her toddler roamed unattended through our cactus- not a wise risk. He also used chairs/tables as bumper cars, forcefully enough to leave dents. Amy put a chair with steel legs ON TOP of our wooden dining table (why not the stone countertop instead?) to feed her infant (when not dribbling food down her onto my sofa). This chair was raked across the table. Amy moved out quickly/quietly on a day we were home right next door and left a breezy message about being gone. She then fought me on the security deposit even though I had verbal estimates from the upholsterer (who'd just done the sofa) and the painter (who'd just done the interior and who could polish the scratches out of the table). I had to spend time documenting all this for AirBnB-- it was easy but took too much time. Amy THEN (after wasting my time) caved on the deposit ($500 toward almost $800 in damage). Then, a couple weeks after her tenure she showed up and climbed over my fence and boosted our ladder- seeking revenge? We use the ladder to wash the windows on that-- the tall side-- of the house. (Why would someone checking into a BnB bring a huge ladder anyway??). I've filed a police report and will prosecute. I have photos and receipts of all her damage, and I'd be happy to share them with you. We're new to AirBnB, but we have 50+ positive reviews (0 negative) on other sites. Amy claims I held her "possessions" hostage. She abandoned worthless "sundries" (her word)-- some almost empty Raisin Bran and oatmeal boxes and a couple of diapers. I offered to send these to her home for shipping & handling fees (as a hotel would) since she's un- welcome at my home (after trashing it, fighting me on the deposit...)-- then I saw her climbing over my gate. Amy's profile says "Real Estate Professional"- no web search I've done can find any accreditation or membership in any professional group.-- so don't take comfort there. Amy's challenged and I'm sorry for her-- but avoiding responsibility and vilifying others is never a solution. I hope she turns things around, for the sake of her...
