Marisa is an excellent host, if you worry that the hut is far from the city you really should not as the taxi ride is only 20 minutes and Marisa is always around to answer your messages even late into the evening to help you set up transportation to get back home.
If you are a light sleeper suggest to bring ear plugs as the cicadas can be singing quite a song at night in the trees surrounding the hut.
Every morning we had a stellar breakfast as well, thank you so much Marisa!
We have a wonderful stay at hut，Marisa and her family are very nice，absolutely recommend！By the way，do not missing their natural product。
The Hut by Sabu-Sabu was even more stunning than in its airbnb pictures. Set on the grounds of the Sabu-Sabu store and home (don't leave without their sumptuous all-natural body products!), our stay in the charming hut was encapsulated by views of rice paddy fields, new year lanterns floating in the distance, and the genuine grace of our hosts - Marisa & Virginia. Thank you, ladies, for accommodating us and doing all you could to make our stay more comfortable x
Come back soon Rachel! There are direct flights from Singapore :)
The Hut was a wonderful experience, it is beautiful, a lot of attention to details, very clean, and we have been extremely well received and treated by Marisa, her mother and their staff.
Very good idea if you are looking for some rest from your urban lives, and not so far from Chiang Mai by cab.
When sleeping in the Hut, you sleep with the sound of nature during the whole night, it's an experience!
Thank you :)
The hut is very beautiful. We really enjoyed staying in the bamboo hut. Breakfast was delicious. We loved the view of the rice field and the sound of birds and nature. This place is absolutely nice if you want to stay with nature and away from the busy town.
We had complete privacy in the hut even though the hut was open air. We also had all hours access which came in handy on nights we returned late from sight seeing. Thank you Marisa for asking us very day about our yummy breakfast even on the date we arrived. I love your Sabu Sabu products as well. The smell was very nice.
Just a final note, in the hut you are "in nature" especially with insects. The netting over the bed and the repellant products provided help to improve the stay.
Marissa helped us by talking to the taxi driver in terms of finding the location of The Hut. And she's really friendly!
This hut is a unique piece of architecture next to a rice field. The breakfast meals were very very good! As for lunch and dinner, we ordered through Meals on Wheels, and we just had to let Marissa know so they could pick it up from the front door.
The hut was equipped is rather interesting bath soap and gels, all Sabu Sabu products. We loved them! Also, they prepared these natural insect repellents which smells good when needed.
There is the Sabu Sabu shop in front, we really liked what they had in terms of body care and even to products to help with health conditions. We found a handful of items which were essential to our traveling style.
The hut is a good place to wind down for a while, to do our personal work and relax. And not to mention The Hut itself, this thing is a bamboo work of art!
It is really great experience to live in the Hut, the environment is perfect naturally, with great view of rice field, the host, Virginia is great, friendly and helpful, i will certainly come back again with kids and recommend to my friends.
Her and her friends left the place in great condition, we would welcome them anytime. Excellent communication on their arrival time and departure.
