Immerse yourself in the sights and tastes of Italy as we explore the famous Mercato Trionfale, a historic and bustling food market in Rome, followed by a hands-on cooking adventure at my apartment.
• We’ll sample local fare including artisanal meats and cheeses from several of our favorite sellers.
• Next, we’ll learn how to handpick the perfect ingredients for our dishes, including farm-fresh eggs, flour, mozzarella di bufala, and tomatoes from top-tier vendors.
• After a short walk back to our home, you’ll learn several of our time-honored techniques for preparing homemade tagliatelle, robust ragù sauce, and a traditional Italian dessert.
• When we’ve finished preparing our meals, we’ll gather around the dining room table to relax, taste, and toast with delicious wine.
You’ll take home some of Italian grandma’s best cooking secrets, which hopefully inspire you on your culinary adventures back home.
Trionfale Market is open in the morning, from Monday to Saturday.
