There are several beach access points at BMB. There are no high rises at Blue Mountain Beach. The main beach access point is at the end of Old Blue Mountain Road, that has bathrooms and shower. A quieter access point is at 726 Blue Mountain Rd, where you can secure your bike at the bike rack and enjoy the beach.

In Blue Mountain Beach, beautiful scenery and leisure go hand in hand. The blue lupine flowers that sway in the coastal breeze give this beach community its name, as does the fact that it is home to South Walton's greatest elevation (a mountainous 65 feet)! Take a bike from Big Daddy's Bike Shop to Justin Gaffrey's art gallery, where he was named South Walton's 2005 Artist of the Year. Even before you go inside, you'll notice his distinct flair on exhibit. The sun might be hot in South Walton, so stop by Blue Mountain Creamery for some homemade ice cream, which is a local favorite. Red Fish Taco, a casual restaurant across Hwy 30A in Redfish Village, welcomes you with live music, a wonderful happy hour, and fresh Gulf seafood.

Beautiful beach with clear water and gorgeous sand. Had clean restrooms and a hose to clean off with at the top of the hill. Is not handicap accessible (stairs only) and is not very public friendly with extremely limited parking. We saw cops patrolling and ticketing persons not parking in designated spots. Be sure to arrive early to find parking!
