This is the bakery that brought bolo-rei (a crowned-shaped cake decorated with dried fruit that is usually eaten around Christmas) to Portugal and it still uses the same recipe as in 1829, the year it opened. Six generations later, Confeitaria Nacional is still run by the same family, though there…

The best pastry shop in Lisbon. Our pastry doesn't end with the Pastel da Nata. We have much more than that and in Confeitaria Nacional you can find the most typical and best cakes we have — Some expensive — They speak English and French

It was founded in 1829 and still holds on to its reputation as one of Lisbon’s best cafés and pastry shops. It’s particularly famous for its Christmas cake “Bolo Rei”.

Negozio gourmet
“Lovely shop if you're a fan of canned sardines, and other fish specialties. They pack your can's by hand and it's very lovely and cute. Great people there, and the sardines are delicious! It will be hard to choose from the range they have available.”

Punto di osservazione panoramico
“The views from the top of this structure are incredible but do expect long line ups to go up the historic elevator. But, there are so many great spots to catch a view of this incredible city from above that if you don't get to see it here you will be fine. You can still capture some incredible photos of this structure and its history. ”

“Full of history, tradition and culture, this Restaurant-café doesn’t need presentation. The former intelectual elite used to hangout here and the place is a must. (the statue of the poet Bocage proves it)”
