All items on the menu here are “fait maison”, or home-made, but you wouldn’t be able to tell by the price! Affordable and casual, the café des Anges has a mostly anglophone staff and something for everyone on the menu. The dining area can get loud and cramped at peak dining times, but there’s always a free table somewhere. Their charming sister restaurant, the café Cosmos, is smaller and therefore quieter – and located just a few numbers up on rue de la Roquette. Less than a 10-minute walk from the Place Léon Blum/Voltaire.

Brasserie classique et très raisonnable en prix ! Nice brasserie style restaurant, cheap and with a nice crowd.
