My favorite restaurant in Cuenca. I have never ordered off of the menu. I just tell the owner (fluent in English) to fix me up with the Chef's choice. It has always been incredible, and for fairly priced for the quantity and quality. On my last trip, I was served a bread appetizer with a variety of sauces, a seafood soup that was incredible, a skillet filled with langoustines, followed up by multiple beef filets. More food than two Gringos could eat. I won't tell you how much it costs - I do not want the crowds to get too big there and keep me from getting a table in the future.

The food is delicious, service is really good and you will find typical and traditional food as well. Best meat restaurant of the city

“Tiestos”: Very near from home, you´ll be there in 5 minutes walking, this guy learn how to properly cook meat in Argentina so it's amazing he has these special spicy sauces made with weird local ingredients it is a must very famous place try to make a reservation first. “Tiestos”: a 5 minutos de casa caminando, el chef aprendió a asar carne con especialistas Argentinos, tienen salsas picantes especiales hechas con ingredientes locales espectaculares.
