The Palau de la Música Catalana is much more than an auditorium with spectacular acoustics and where important concerts are held; it is also one of the most representative Catalan monuments of modernism and one of the most beautiful in Barcelona.

Gorgeous building. Buy tickets for a musical experience (flamenco, chamber music, orchestral concerts) or buy a tour of the inside. And visit the delicious ‘Tosca’ opposite the main entrance for awesome tapas and a drink (or brunch on weekends!) before or after the show

“Casa Milà (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈkazə miˈla], Spanish pronunciation: [ˈkasa miˈla]), popularly known as La Pedrera (pronounced [ɫə pəˈðɾeɾə]) or "The stone quarry", a reference to its unconventional rough-hewn appearance, is a modernist building in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It was the last private residence designed by architect Antoni Gaudí and was built between 1906 and 1912. ”

Point of Interest
“It is one of the buildings that are famous in Barcelona with its funny exterior. A tip is to go up a street and take a left and enter the big hardware store. On the first floor there is a small terrace and from there you can see the back of the building for free. ”

Point of Interest
“One of the last modernist buildings in Barcelona which reveals the clear influence of Gaudí in the use of the curve. The rounded corner of the building is surmounted by a slender turret. Another outstanding element is the protruding balcony with columns and large windows. Inside the building there is a lavishly decorated lobby and staircase.”

Museo d'arte
“Surely "the" museum to visit in Barcelona. For the artist and for the building. Imagine Montcada Street, in the Gothic quarter, five mansions united to form a museum, lovely to visit. About Pablo Ruiz Picasso the museum is essential to understand his formative years. The genius of the young artist is revealed to us through more than 3,500 works that make up this permanent collection.”
