Don't be confused by this map. There is a lookout on Highway 10 with a stunning view of the Solanas bay, but what I am trying to signal here is the Mirador or lookout at the end of the street, Carlos Paez Vilaro. This is a municipal park and a place where so many come to watch the sunset. It is beautiful, but often very crowded. It is roughly a 40 to 45 minute round trip walk from Gitche Gumee. On one of those legs, you should take the road directly in front of Casa Pueblo.

Punta del Este tiene la particularidad que en cualquier punto podes ver los más lindos atardeceres, pero sin lugar a dudas en Punta Ballena son mágicos. Frente a ese océano inmenso el sol cayendo en el agua no tiene precio.
