Only a couple miles away.  You can bike or drive.  There is a fee for daily parking during the summer season.  Surf fishing, sunbathing and surfing are available on this long stretch of beach.  Parking can become challenging after 10am.  We recommend driving to the southernmost beach access, which…

Sala da bowling
“Great for a rainy day. Lefty's is a place to hang out indoors. They have a decent sized arcade and the bowling is fun. There is food conveniently located inside with many options for both vegetarians and gluten free! Great place. ”

Cibo
“You could easily spend an entire day here. Dogfish Head was the first brewery in the state of Delaware, and continues to expand its influence in the area. Be sure to sign up for a tour (highly recommend the best one you can afford). Get your free drinks. Check out the Farmers Market on Friday afternoons. Play some bocce ball or climb up into the steam punk treehouse. Grab a bite, and shop the store. Try the spirits. Dogfish Head offers plenty of events year-round.”

Ristorante
“If you love all things Cajun…. Po’Boys is a must! Take a bite into one of their Po’ Boys or seafood étouffée and you will be transported to New Orleans. While we are certainly not experts on all things NOLA…we know plenty who are and say that Po’ Boys in Milton is the real deal. ”

Water Park
“While it's not actually a beach, if you're looking for water fun, Jungle Jim's is worth checking out. Jim's is a local mainstay and has some incredible water features that beaches don't, like water slides, a lazy river, a kiddie pool and pirate ship. Be sure to look for coupons on their web site.”

Ristorante messicano
“Margaritas & tacos draw regular crowds to a tiny but polished Latin American spot with a lounge. Note: you must go there in person at or after 4 pm to put your phone number in for a wait list. They will call your cell phone when table is ready. Typical call back comes in 2 hours. It is worth the wait!”
