I used to work at Knightor Winery and if you enjoy good wine, it is well worth a visit. 'Off the beaten track' so to speak (but close to the Eden Project!) it is a boutique winery where we make all our own wine from English grapes and grapes we have grown at our Portscatho and Seaton vineyards. Every Friday there is a feast night, Saturday are pop up street food vans 12-4 ad Sunday roasts. Wine tastings (£5 to try 4 Cornish wines) and winery tours too. And a very authentic winer cellar shop. Well worth a visit Wednesday - Sunday

Throughout the year they host feast and dining evenings mostly on Friday evenings. Each feast is different, from BBQ's and world food menus to wine paired dinners. If the weather is nice then feasts take place outside in the courtyard or around the grounds, for winter and wet weather feasts the vaulted barn is a gorgeous setting too. Wine tours can also be booked as part of the experience, we highly recommend their wine tour followed by their Sunday lunch!

Knightor is a working winery, wedding and events venue, nestled above St Austell Bay and a stones throw from the Eden Project. Drop in and try what you like in the shop bar, with small sample measures available of their wines. Feel free to browse around the site and look at the vine varieties used to make wine in the UK. From April to October, they host regular wine tours and tastings that are informative, interesting and fun. A variety of experiences are offered, from finding out more about wine in general, growing grapes and making wine in the Cornish/English climate, to more in-depth special 'winemaker' tours that will explore themes such as food and wine pairing or focus on our sparkling selection or English Vermouth. Large private group tours and tastings can be booked anytime by prior arrangement, get in touch to find out more and check availability.
