Hike out to the lookout and see see where the largest non-nuclear planned explosions on record was. You can also witness the trechurous tides that flow through there.

A great hike that can be done in one day and has an amazing viewpoint of the seymore narrows at the end. Located just north of Campbell River.

It's best to check the current tables before going there to time arrival at the look out point at the max ebbing current for spectacular views.

A great hike north of Campbell River - it does have some steep inclines but the view at the top is pretty epic!

This popular hiking trail overlooks the site of the famous 1958 Ripple Rock blast, which was the largest non-nuclear explosion in the world at the time. While the detonation was dangerous, the trail is the opposite. At 4 kms long in each direction, this moderate trail provides scenic viewpoints overlooking Menzies Bay and the Seymour Narrows.
