It is the largest cave in Slovenia, 40min drive from Izola. I recommend visiting on hot days as it stays chilly 🙂 Good also for kids as it has a train that brings you in the cave and there is not too much walking.

This cave is such a magnificent, otherworldly experience and it’s perfect to visit with kids as there is a train ride going through it. If you are lucky you can also spot the endemic baby dragons (človeška ribica) that live in the cave.
