Kanella, which means cinnamon in Greek, is a traditional family style restaurant in Gazi, serving typical mamas kitchen, with home made specialties based on authentic recipes. Warm bread, wine from the barrel, delicious desserts, a friendly atmosphere, the aroma of freshly baked food, welcome all guests. Kanella is situated in a picturesque old building with a characteristic display of colored bottles in the window. Specialties include appetizers such as feta cheese with honey, spices or tomato, Cretan stuffed vine leaves with yoghurt, sausages from northern Greece with mustard, haloumi cheese from Cyprus, and some of the most popular main dishes are pork fillet with rice and mushrooms

Kanella is lovely tradtional taverna. The place is not very big and it is usually always full. So, keep in mind that if you can't reserve table, you might have to wait on the line or not go at all because it is crowded in the evenings. Authentic tasty food and fair price. Definitely recommend to go.
