A very clean beach, good for swimming and also a great place to make a picnic. There is a playground for kids and a place to skating.

15 min drive. This is a great 1 hr return walk (similiar to the Milford to Takapuna walk) walking along the water bay to bay. Start in Browns Bay or Mairangi Bay
