The local civic center offers a paved path for jogging & biking, a brand new playground, a skate park, several baseball fields, 2 full sized basketball courts, 2 tennis courts, a large open green space, picnic areas, and public bathrooms. Plenty of parking.

Offer a nice spot to walk outdoors with the family. There is also a skate park for skateboards, scooters and bikes to ride.

You can walk about 1/2-mile to this large city park on Front Street at the end of Milliken Drive. Soon undergoing a major upgrade, the park already has a 1-mile walking loop, large grassy lawns, soccer and baseball fields, picnic tables, and the Easling Pool where guests can swim for $10 a day (other options for YMCA members). Also notable: NORTE's bright orange headquarters with resources for bicyclists, including a community bike repair shop with tools and help for quick fixes.
