‘Skosh’ comes from the Japanese word ‘sukoshi’ meaning small amount, a reference to the small plates for which the restaurant is known. In my opinion this is by far the best restaurant in York and don't be fooled by the simple surroundings. The food and service is outstanding. Very creative and exciting eating but make sure you book in advance as this restaurant is very popular.
