Cafe Coca-Cola is the oldest cafe in Panama City. It is a Panama City institution; it opened its doors in 1875, making it the oldest cafe in the city. It is also the only cafe in the world to be named 'Coca cola' a namesake by the Coca-Cola Corporation.

We are often asked: 'with all the fancy restaurants in Casco, where do the locals eat?'. Beside the Mercado de Mariscos, the Café Coca Cola is a classic. Nothing fancy, a bit like a diner and as local as it gets. Budget backpackers have already discovered it.
