So this place is probably one of the best kept secrets of the southern part of Cape Town. I've been living here for years and I only heard about it a few weeks ago and wow, I was blown away. Nestled along the banks of a river with trees surrounding you, Little Stream Restaurant has one of the best breakfast or lunch buffets around priced reasonably as well. After your meal, you can enjoy a stroll down to the river or take a walk around the beautiful gardens and even swing on a massive swing for those young at heart.

We like to frequent in the heart of Constantia. Basic menu but tasty food. Good for a light lunch or an afternoon tea. Lovely gardens for kids to run around and play in. Take balls for a kick-around in garden at the bottom of the property.

Lovely simple coffee shop with magical garden with swings and riving running through for the kids. No need to book, but closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

One of Constantia's best kept secrets for families with children and just 2.5kms away. The small rustic daytime restaurant is situated on seven magnificent acres of garden estate just 2.5kms away. The grounds include a play area and pretty pathways crossing a little stream... Open Tues - Sun from 9am - 5pm
