Great venue, amazing range of live music, something for everyone. Dreadful parking. Park on Newcastles quayside and walk over the millennium bridge.

what Patti Smith referred to as our "giant silver peanut" - purpose built for accoustics so especially good venue for classical and opera but hosts many genres of artist. worth booking ahead if you want to see something there.

Sage Gateshead is a centre for musical education, performance and conferences, located on the south bank of the River Tyne. It opened in 2004 - sagegateshead.com
