Unusual place for a cafe, the Kranhaus Cafe is based in an re-build dock crane which was used for the river freight transportation. After the cafe you can walk along the river.

This café is located in a unique industrial building with a crane on top – right besides the Spree. They offer salads, quiche and cakes and it all tastes fantastic. The path from the boat to the café leads you through the new university campus, a small urban garden and then continues along the water – a really nice walk in sunny weather.
