Only 15-20 minutes away. Go early to ensure parking since many Yosemite visitors side track here. Bring insect repellant. Wonderful hiking on trail across the creek all the way to Sugar Pine: incredible waterfalls to your right down the hill.

This is a great local hike with a waterfall. This is a moderate hike to the waterfall. If you choose to hike to the Cedar Valley trail head it is an easy to moderate hike.

Great trail! Trail doesn’t loop. When tried of hiking, turn around and go back the way you came. We like the trail entrance on Hwy 41 about 6 miles north from Oakhurst towards Yosemite.
