Grocery or Supermarket
“In ancient Rome the Trastevere area was inhabited mostly by foreign people coming from all over the regions conquered by the Roman Republic and the Empire. Over the time, travellers and foreigners have continued to come to Trastevere for long or short stays, and that was the reason why the grocery Innocenzi started its activity many years ago, in the far 1948. The owner began to import more and more foreign products and now the grocery sells foodie specialties from every angle of the world, items you'll never find in a supermarket.Among them are spices, cereals, sauces, grains, candies, jams, teas and coffees, dried fruit, chocolate, liquors, rice and breads.065812725 8.00-13.30 + 16.30-20.0”

Libreria
“With its ensign of handmade, artisanal ceramic tiles, this friendly second-hand bookshop is situated on the quieter side of Trastevere. It opened in 1975 and is now run by Lavinia and Elaine. Today, it is the only bookshop in Rome selling second-hand English books. You can find every kind of book here, from paperback fiction to history, science or touristic guides. Smaller sections provide books in French, Italian or Spanish. On their website you can find the more expensive and rare books, along with an interesting section of art books, but the shop worths a visit, because prices here are really competitive: thrillers and novels cost just 1 or 2 Euros! ”
