It is one of my favourite places in Barbados to relax. Tranquil setting. Shows a unique part of Barbados. Beautiful lakeside setting. The Sanctuary Café serves snacks and you can relax and eat outdoors on the furniture provided or you can purchase pellets to feed the fish in the lake. Green monkeys, ducks and other species of birds can be seen. Unfortunately the aviary and exhibits are closed to the public at present but this is still a recommended must visit location nearby.

There are a variety of eateries located in the Oistins which specialise in freshly prepared seafood and local cuisine. There are also stall selling craft produced by local artisans. Friday night is the most popular night. There are live performances, karaoke and music being played by a dj.

This small shopping complex is conveniently located in walking distance. It includes Massy Stores Supermarket a member of one the biggest supermarket chains in Barbados. There is also a beauty supply store, restaurants, a bank, gas station, shoe store, stationary and souvenir and novelty items store.

Getting Around
The bus depot is located in walking distance in Oistins but no need to walk that far. All forms of public transport pass the bus stop located on the main road just a short walk away.

Entertainment & Activities
Enterprise Beach or Miami Beach as it is fondly known by locals is a popular tourist attraction. beautiful location to relax and have a picnic or have a swim. People there are often involved in various fitness activities such as paddle ball and Zumba.
