The Valle delle Ferriere is a place unique to this world.
It can be easily reached on foot from my house in about an hour. The most interesting part is without doubt the Nature Reserve (Riserva Naturale Orientata), to be found at its centre. The best starts is from Pontone - Piazza San Giovanni (sentiero n. 323a)
Known as the "Path of the Gods"' this path of international fame, is the most frequented in the area, following easy paths delineated by spectacular cliffs. Passing through various gorges, the path offers captivating views over Positano, the Sorrento Peninsula and small islands of Li Galli and Capri. Aspects of interest are the natural vegetation, cultivated terraces and old farm houses scattered along the path. 60 minutes from Soleluna house.
