This is what they say - 'At Mingara Recreation Club you’re truly spoilt for choice when you’re after a great time out. Whether it's an early breakfast (or a late one!), coffee with a sweet treat, lunch, afternoon tea, an intimate dinner or large celebration…even just a quiet drink, we have you covered.'
You will find a bar, large modern western restaurant (Indigo), Chinese restaurant, cafe (Roasted Berry - try the salted caramel tart), burger bar, various events, casino, post office, bottle shop and friendly staff.
You can even ask for the courtesy bus to pick you up and drop you back, but only if you're happy to come back at about 9pm. No need to drive and not drink!

Terrigal has plenty of restaurants, bars and the odd night club, right next to a glorious beach. What more could you ask for? If you fancy dressing up a bit (by Australian standards) and having a nice meal / drink, I also recommend the Crown Plaza.

Parks & Nature
The coastal walk from Bateau Bay Beach to Crackneck Point and beyond, is my favourite coastal path. Depending on the time of the year, you can see Spring Flowers (the flannel flowers are numerous) or watch the whale migration. If you are not interested in walking, collect some picnic items together and enjoy lunch overlooking the ocean.

All your main supplies can be found here. There is a Coles, Pharmacy, Fish and Chip shop, Chinese takeaway, great Butchers (Murphy's have wonderful sausages), a bakery, hairdressers, bottle shop, newsagents and Post Office.

The indoor food court has plenty of choice or walk outside to find many restaurants. There is a large Event cinema showing all your latest films.
