This is a hidden gem.... I lived in Oakdale for 20 years before I discovered it! The most peaceful river area for a nature walk with trails (dog friendly) bbq pits, benches with river view, picnic tables and restrooms. If you go right before dusk (closes at dark) you might see deer. Love this place.

Beautiful and historic area with hiking trails, river access and a museum. This is one of the most photographed spots in the area for good reason. The parking lot gets locked up at night so make sure you're back to your car by dark.
