One of my favorites downtown. Everything is made with honey. They have amazing flavored honey, sauces, dips, soaps, lotions and lots of cute little decor. They also have a huge bees nest that is indoor/outdoor that's pretty cool to see.

This is a real small hole in the wall place in Lansing, a very small town about 10 minutes from the lodge...but everyone just LOVES their pizza. If you like pizza...give it a try!

If you are looking for a beautiful drive through the country or a motorcycle ride, the drive to Watauga Lake is gorgeous and the lake itself is amazing! It's about an hour and a half one way, but makes an awesome day trip!
When you get there, have lunch at "The Captain's Table". Awesome views!!

Watauga Lake
If you are looking for a beautiful drive through the country or a motorcycle ride, the drive to Watauga Lake is gorgeous and the lake itself is amazing! It's about an hour and a half one way, but makes an awesome day trip!
When you get there, have lunch at "The Captain's Table". Awesome views!!
If you have a bike, take a day trip to Watauga Lake and have lunch here. Best day ever!

Linville Falls is a 45 minute drive from the cabin, but well worth the views. The waterfalls are amazing and there is gorgeous views from the top of the mountain also. Lots of hiking!
