Great hiking trail loop with great views of the falls. You can even swim in the creek if you want too. I love spending the day here.

If you love skiing this resort is for you in the winter time. Plenty of trails and not long chair lift lines. I enjoy spending my winter weekends here. Skiing and go in for a beer and food in the afternoon and spending the evenings back out on the slopes. In the summer you can spend your day on the full golf course. This resort is definitely a four season resort. There is always something to do!

If you have a boat there is a boat launch ramp you can use for just $10 dollars or use your Maryland state park pass, if you own one. We visit the park at least twice a week to walk around and let our dog take a swim. I think you will love the park as much as we do.

This building is historic to Oakland, Maryland. We enjoyed visiting this museum and it didn't take up to much time to walk through.

If you are feeling adventurous and are with a group you can go whitewater rafting. Or go and watch other people enjoying this adventure park. They even practice kayaking here. I love spending the midafternoon, early evening here watching groups experience whitewater rafting.
