Zion National Park is a premier National Park with a tram system that takes you to all the main spots. There are guided hikes and repelling that range from beginner to expert. I have been on some of these and the experience is incredible.

The first time I went to Bryce Canyon was a jaw dropping experience. I had been to the Grand Canyon, so what could be better than that...my opinion is that Bryce beats the Grand Canyon on several areas, and that isn't to take anything away from the majesty and awe inspiring vistas of the Grand. The shear beauty and color of Bryce is better. The colors are richer, and the accessibility is much better. There is a hiking loop in Bryce that I took my 5 year old down and up again without it being traumatic - we've had some of those. The number of people to bump up against is much less. Depending on the time of year, sometimes there are so few people that we have felt like we own the place. Just before you enter the park, there is a place called Ruby's Inn. There is cross country skiing that takes up and on the rim of the canyon, ice skating and dining that makes you feel like you have come home. Bryce Canyon is a must see!

Duck Creek village is a little town on top of our local mountain. There are trails for riding horses and atv's that go in every direction. Little lakes and reservoirs dot the mountain. The best is between Duck Creek Village and Duck Creek campground. It is a little reservoir called Aspen lake that is right out of a post card. The one you see from the road is mirror lake, but don't stop there, you want to drive about 400 yards off the main road, and then hike about 250 yards on an easy trail to Aspen lake. You won't be sorry!

Cedar Breaks National Monument is the most overlooked jewel on top of our mountain. Just a couple miles beyond Brian Head Ski resort will put you on the rim of some of the most beautiful vistas North America has to offer. Just over the hill from that is our little Duck Creek Village.
