Favorite food spots near by
Here are a couple local spots that we frequent often.
Hudson's is a staple of Coeur d'Alene. They only serve burgers and pies. Funny combo I know, but it just works. The burgers are cooked right in front of you while you're waiting at their bar top and the only toppings they have are onion, pickles, and cheese. Things to note: cash only, bar top seating only and they fill up quick. It is worth the wait!! Be sure to use their spicy mustard. I'm now hungry from writing this.

This place is the perfect Sports Bar for the entire family. Awesome pizza and wings and their parsley/jalapeno margarita is AMAZING. It's not on the menu, but they'll make it for you ;)

This is more of a solo/date night spot. You can definitely bring the entire family, but in my opinion, they are geared more toward adults. Their food is fantastic and this place is probably my favorite restaurant in town. Their fried chicken is $$$$

I know I know, eating sushi in Coeur d'Alene doesn't sound ideal buuuuuuut check this place out!!! I eat sushi every time I travel and this place continues to be my favorite. Note: they are closed Sunday-Monday

Local Hikes
Easy close hikes and are both dog friendly.
This is a perfect hike that you can knock out in an hour or 2. It has amazing views of the lake the entire time and is a very easy trail to hike. We also love it because it is dog-friendly. You are supposed to keep the pups on a leash, but you can use your own discretion. We let them off if it's not super busy.

Mineral Ridge Scenic Area

If you only make it to 1 of these places I recommend Daft Badger.
Awesome neighborhood brewery!! This place has a very cool vibe and is smack dab in a neighborhood. It's super close to the house which is a bonus. Not a huge food selection, but all very good. If you order the nachos bring an army because they are HUGE!!

This place is pretty new, but it's only .4 miles away, definitely walking distance. Their beers are great and the bar food is also on point. I highly recommend this one for at least 1 beer or 4.

Triple Play Family Fun Park

Silverwood is much larger than Triple Play but is also a Theme Park. They have everything a them park can offer. It isn't Disneyland, but is still a blast. Please note the park does close over the winter.

Fine Dining
This is on the 12th floor of the CDA Resort facing the lake. The views are amazing and their menu is also top-notch. You won't be disappointed with this one.

Fine Brewed is more than a cafe. They also have around 10 beers on tap and I believe are the only "All you can drink" mimosas in town (only on Sat-Sun). It is also right on Sherman Ave. so checking out shops and just sightseeing go hand and hand with Fine Brewed.
