Within 5 minutes of travel from my home, you can reach the dock for further boat traveling to Thoi Son island (part of the Four Sacred Creatures islands).
These islands are well customized to catch up with the growth of local tourism as you can find most of the activities there are mostly for sight-seeing and experiencing the typical Mekong delta.
There are plenty of activities that can be done there. Travelers can take a sip of local honey bee tea while tasting some great dried banana; they can also have some tropical fruits and listen to the old Vietnamese folk songs; taking a boat tour on the Mekong river is a must to see such greatness of nature and the local lives along the river; etc.
