My Favourite places to Visit

In this category I will give you all my favourite places to visit. Basically all the places I try to go to each time I come to stay!
Port Grimaud is a seaside town built in a Venetian manner but with French Fisherman style houses resembling those in Saint Tropez. Mainly traffic free the town is popular with boat owners as most properties come with their own berth. The local church St Francis of Assisi is designed by the architect of Port Grimaud Francois Spoerry and contains stained glass by Victor Vasarely.

Saint Tropez is a coastal town long popular with artists. The town attracted the International "Jet Set" in the 1950's and remains known for its beaches and nightlife as well as the rise of Bridget Bardot. The cobblestoned streets remind you of the routes of St Tropez being a beautiful fishing village, although the fishing boats are outnumbered nowadays by Yachts.

Gassin is believed to be one of the oldest villages in the South of France with the first written evidence dating back to 1234. It is perched 4 km back from the sea upon a high rock. The views are stunning and there are many restaurants to visit. Be sure to be there in time to watch the sun set on the bay of Saint Tropez.
