Wineries and Food
You probably guessed that I am trying to give my guests recommendation of unique non touristy places and these winery recommendations are just that! Kids are welcome at the wineries!
Arrowleaf winery is one of my favorites as they have a picnic area. You can bring your own packed lunch or snacks, buy a carafe of wine and your set! Oh and not to mention it has a fabulous view of Okanagan lake!

Rent electric bikes at Gatzke Market. Bike to Vernon on the Okanagan Rail trail and stop for lunch at Alexander’s pub or bike around Wood lake and stop at OKF grill for lunch! If you have your own bikes you can access the Okanagan rail trail to the right of the resort entrance.
