Long Beach is made up of very distinctive neighborhoods, each with their own flavor and characteristics. Casa Frida Long Beach, CFLB, is in the Bluff Heights neighborhood. All my picks will list the neighborhood “Area” to help you plan & navigate around.

Take a self guided tour. Visit the Princess Diana museum. Take a ghost tour. Definitely tour the Russian submarine! For a special treat, make dinner reservations for Sir Winston’s Restaurant and ask for a window table. (Coat required)

Walking distance from CFLB. Good permanent collection of Asian Arts, Modern prints and cool Contemporary exhibits. Wonderful outdoor sculptures. Eat breakfast outdoors overlooking the ocean at their restaurant Claire’s. Check out the historic house, which was built in the 1890’s by the first wave of wealthy East Coast families as summer homes.
