Within only a few minutes ride from the house, North Sea colony beach is a nice bay beach that is perfect for guests who want to avoid the powerful ocean currents and crowded touristy beach.
When the tide is low, the beach is ideal for beach-combing. Floatation devices are also permitted here providing for hours of enjoying the water. At the far west end licensed fishing is allowed as well as those wishing to track down to this location. You will need parking permits, but this beach is also free to those on bikes or foot. There is no lifeguard staffed here and no bathroom facilities.
