Family Fun
Like to fish? 75-acre lake with wooded shores and a county park. Largemouth bass provide good fishing, and there are also crappie, bluegill, channel catfish, and an excellent redear sunfish population. The channel catfish and brown bullhead populations are among the best found in a small impoundment in Northern Virginia.
Permits are required for fishing and boating and can be obtained from the Town of Culpeper. Permit fees are $10 for fishing and are good for the calendar year of purchase.

This little town revolves around the Inn at Little Washington. Several cafes, gift shot and the high end but less high end than the actual Inn's "Patty O's Cafe" for incredible food. The Little Washington Winery is nearby.
