It's also a bakery with by far the best baguettes, croissants and patisserie in Hong Kong, and it's only five minutes walk away. Terrific selection of fresh produce from France, amazing cheeses and meats.
Just be careful on the pricing, shopping and eating at Stan Cafe can get expensive quite quickly.

Chef Erik Idos is ex Nobu through and through... You can see it in the delicate clean way that he treats Mexican food. You will not find a refried bean within 100 metres of the place... Great tequilas and mezcals to accompany fantastically innovative food.

The closest you're going to get to an English pub on the south side of Hong Kong. Don't eat! Drink. And play the juke box. It 'aint fancy, but you'll have a fun time.

If it's a nice sunset then head to the bar at Limewood and stand outside watching the sun dip behind the palm trees on Repulse Bay Beach. I'm not a fan of the restaurant but snacks with your drinks are okay.

Getting Around
To get into Central at rush hour you risk getting delayed in the Aberdeen Tunnel due to weight of traffic. My tip is to hop out of the bus or taxi and switch to the MTR (subway) at Ocean Park and you can be inCentral in a few minutes whilst everyone is stuck in traffic around the tunnel.

Lovely spot a 10 minute walk from the apartment. There's a cafe there too but it's opening hours don't seem to be very reliable. Great for swimming and sunbathing.

There's a nice walk from Repulse Bay along the coastline to Deepwater Bay. It's a concrete path all of the way and is pretty much level without steps. It will take about 20 - 30 minutes.

Great beach with a cafe alongside as well as more local restaurants and cafes in the attached village. Lifeguard cover and surf if you're lucky - you can rent boards.
