No visit to Hot Springs is complete without a visit to this place. McClard's has been around since 1928 and serves up some of the best BBQ you will ever eat. (my favorite is the 1/2 tamale spread) Because the restaurant is small sitting is at a premium during peak times and it has become a tradition to enter, scope out the appropriate table and hover until the people occupying the table finish. It is not as daunting as it sounds and really the food is worth it. I always like to imagine one of the more famous people who have come before me waiting for a table.
