Downtown Beaufort is very historic and offers great shopping, restaurants both casual and fine dining, several movies have been filmed in Beaufort and taking a horse and carriage ride provides a great overview of the areas history.

Publix is a great store offering all food items along with beer and wine. Publix offers a great deli and bakery and is right on your way to Fripp Island. This is my favorite place to shop due to the freshness of the produce and meat along with a friendly staff.

Walmart has opened a new SuperCenter in 2017 on the way from Beaufort to Fripp Island. I've shopped here and found the selection to be very good!
