History Museum
“The Museum is a modern institution of culture - it is a historical museum which presents the 1000 years of Jewish life in the Polish lands. It is also a place of meeting and dialogue among those who wish to explore the past and present Jewish culture, those eager to draw conclusions for the future from Polish-Jewish history, and finally those who are ready to face the stereotypes and oppose xenophobia and nationalistic prejudices that threaten today’s societies. By promoting the ideas of openness, tolerance and truth, POLIN Museum contributes to the mutual understanding and respect among Poles and Jews. In 2016, POLIN Museum won the title of the European Museum of the Year Award (EMYA 2016). POLIN Museum rose up to the challenge of creating an engaging and persuasive core exhibition without a substantial collection of artefacts. The programme of temporary exhibitions, educational activities, conferences, academic and artistic residences make the Museum a vibrant platform for dialogue and spreading the knowledge on Jewish history and heritage – reads the EMYA Jury statement.”

Nightclub

“Warsaw’s first hyper-posh rooftop nightspot is finally here, and it’s everything you imagine it to be and more. Once you clear the streetside queue (get there promptly at 22:00 or suffer the consequences), squeeze past the burly bouncers and stroll the red carpet in the lobby before entering the club in the clouds. The 360 degree bird's eye views alone are worth the trip as you emerge right in the middle of Warsaw's rapidly rising skyline. Take it all in with a bubbly cocktail in hand, but if you want a seat make sure you reserve ahead of time. Aside from A-list DJs and all-night parties al fresco and in the newly opened club space (28th floor), The View promises, above all, primo people-watching as the city's glitterati, celebs and business tycoons all crowd around the iconic circular bar. The place to see and be seen in Warsaw. ”

Light Rail Station
“Originally built at the end of the 19th century, Hala Mirowska was the biggest market in the city until the WWII when it was destroyed. It was then rebuilt in the 50s and today it still serves its original function of an organic food market. This is not a place for everybody. It is not a major tourist attraction nor a must-see landmark, it’s just a food market. However, if you like markets as much as I do, you should definitely drop by. Here in Hala Mirowska you will experience the authentic vibe of a 1990 Warsaw food market, you will deal with non-English speaking farmers and… you will find the freshest fruit, veggies, and eggs, the most amazing bread, the best meat, and honey.”

Cinema indipendente
“Small, old-fashioned and climatic cinema with an ambitious repertoire. Do you want to watch alt-movies about fishing in Pakistan? That's the place. Here you will see the movies that won't appear in multplexes. Monday tickets are like 4 or 5 dollars.”

“One of the finest examples of the rooftop bar trend currently winding its way through Warsaw, Level 27 offers splendid views of the sprawling city and a fabulous mix of relaxation, cocktails, and clubbing. It all starts with the view at Level 27, as from its perch on the 27th floor of the Millennium Plaza building, you are treated to sweeping views of the Polish capital’s numerous skyscrapers, including the famous Palace of Science and Culture. If you have arrived during pleasant weather, you will find a huge terrace waiting for you complete with two bars, cool white couches, and blowing palms. ”
