Yes, we can also pick you up at your Wine Estate or Hotel where you are staying, service in private tours, of course. In this experience we will live and see the Douro Valley through the eyes of a native local, we will learn about all Port Wines and taste the delicacies of the Douro Valley. We will have a cruise on a private boat with snacks and drinks to make the tour unforgettable. Another small big detail, we don't visit the big wine estates, but the Small Local Wine producers, the people you definitely want to meet and who will give you all the attention you deserve. The experience begins by picking you up at your hotel in Peso da Régua, Lamego , Vila Real or in a meeting point in the Douro valley ; In case you are staying in Porto , please contact us before you make a reservation ,the price for this experience doesn’t include Pick up in Porto , we can organize but that is charged as an extra service ; We also suggest coming with the train till Régua, the views are beautiful ; Our first visit is to São Leonardo, a viewpoint of indescribable beauty in the Douro Valley ; After that, we will visit a family estate / winery Quinta there, we will taste very high quality wines. Port wine, table wines (white/red) and olive oil. For lunch we will go to an amazing local restaurant a place with very tasty food ; After lunch, we head towards Pinhão along the EN222 road, which in 2015 was considered the most beautiful road in the world. 14:30 - 16:00 - In Folgosa do Douro we will visit a Winery (Quinta) with breathtaking views and taste table wines (red) and Port Wine; 16:30 - 17:30 - After this visit we will go to Porto do Pinhão to take a 1 hour Rabelo boat cruise on the Douro River. After the cruise, the tour concludes and we will drop you off at your hotel or Airbnb address; Wineries, Lunch and Rabelo boat Cruise are included on the price local Guide , Air Conditioned Vehicle , Chaffeur ;

Then, we move to the winery to show the step-by-step process of how we make our wines and how we handcraft them. Lastly, the most crucial aspect of your visit: wine tasting with a board of cheeses and charcuteries. This part of the experience is done inside the winery, where all the magic happens. In this tour, that lasts from 3 to 4 hours, we will follow the footsteps of the shepherd and his herd, looking for the greenest pastures. Be part of the shepherd's work day, listen to his stories and enter in communion with nature - smell, hear, feel and taste. At the end of the hiking activity, upon arriving at the pasture, we will share with him a small meal. The money we earn with the experience is not only to pay our work, insurance and the meal, but it is also shared with the shepherd. We live in a unique community and territory and we want to give back to it at least as much as we receive. Everything can be adapted and customized according to your wishes. IMPORTANT: Depending on the weather conditions, the shepherd's convenience, the particular characteristics of the herding activity and the ability of the group, we can follow a different plan / schedule or cancel the event. In that case, we will contact the guests and present an alternative date/hour. Other things to note Insurances for all participants are included. Transportation to the point of departure should be provided by the participant.

In this activity, that lasts from 2 to 3 hours, we will taste cheeses from Serra da Estrela and Beiras. At dusk, right in front of the Zêzere River Glacier Valley, we will taste a special selection of sheep and goat cheese accompanied by various delicacies that complement and enhance its flavor, such as wine, jams or fresh and dry fruits. We will tell the stories and legends surrounding Serra da Estrela cheese and explain the culture and traditions that make it such a special product. The event can take place in one of our accommodations - Casa Cerro da Correia or Casa da Sicó: in one of their patios (weather permitting) or indoors, near the fireplace, in case the weather is not good. If it is not possible to carry out the activity in the accommodations (either indoor or outdoor, because they are booked) the activity will take place elsewhere (usually in our garden), but it can also be in an area of special natural beauty in the Glacier Valley. Other remarks: Activity insurance is included for each participant. Transportation to the venue must be arranged by the participants.

Welcome to our Quinta in the charming village of Freixo, Portugal. Let me, Alfredo, be your guide to the world of organic farming, delicious local cuisine and the beauty of our panoramic farm. Join me on our unique experience, where we'll embark on a journey through the flavours and traditions of Portuguese cuisine. As we explore the farm's seasonal fruits, vegetables, aromatic herbs, and edible flowers, I'll share my passion for organic farming, which has been honed over three decades of dedicated work. To toast to the farm's bounty, we'll enjoy a glass of our very own green wine, made with love and care from the vineyards on our farm. Then, it's time to roll up our sleeves and get cooking! Together, we'll prepare a three-course traditional Portuguese meal, with your choice of fish, meat (from our farm) or vegetarian. Throughout the cooking class, I'll share the wisdom passed down from my beloved grandmother, who instilled in me a deep appreciation for Portuguese cuisine and the simple joys of life. Encontro no Cais fluvial de Escamarão em Souselo - Cinfães para embarque no nosso Pontoon Boat de nome "AquaDouro" com capacidade para 14 Pax e assim dar o inicio a nossa viagem que irá durar cerca de 1 hora. Saindo do cais do Escamarão iremos navegar nas aguas calmas do Rio Douro confortavelmente e com toda a tranquilidade que este rio nos oferece, iremos avistar a praia e o cais de Bitetos, de seguida vamos descer o Rio Douro e atracar para uma breve visita, na nossa já famosa "Ilha dos Amores" junto a praia do Castelo em Fornos - Castelo de Paiva, seguidamente iremos continuar a nossa navegação no famoso Rio Paiva, o mais belo rio de Portugal, com as suas aguas límpidas e cristalinas, considerado um dos rios menos poluídos da Europa. Iremos fazer uma breve paragem junto a uma pequena ilha de nome "Caneiros" para desfrutar de uns refrescantes mergulhos para os mais atrevidos ou aproveitar para simplesmente admirar em silencio todo este soberbo habitat natural de beleza incomparável. Após uns bons banhos no Rio Paiva e após contemplar toda esta natureza praticamente intacta, retomaremos viagem de regresso ao nosso ponto de partida no cais fluvial de Escamarão para dar por terminado os nossos serviços. "Circuito ótimo para grupos" Se o passeio não se poder realizar devido a condições meteorológicas adversas, será alterado o dia do cruzeiro ou devolvido o dinheiro ao cliente.

Saindo do cais do Escamarão, iremos navegar nas aguas calmas do Rio Douro confortavelmente e com toda a tranquilidade que este rio nos oferece, iremos avistar a praia de Bitetos em Alpendorada, de seguida vamos descer o Douro em direção as três pontes de Entre-Os-Rios entre o Douro e o Tâmega avistando o anjo de Portugal e o seu monumento para de seguida atracarmos, para uma breve visita, na nossa já famosa "Ilha dos Amores" junto a praia do Castelo em Fornos - Castelo de Paiva, seguidamente iremos continuar a nossa navegação no já famoso Rio Paiva, o mais belo rio de Portugal e um dos mais puros da Europa, com as suas aguas límpidas e cristalinas, iremos fazer uma breve paragem junto a uma pequena ilha de nome "Caneiros" para desfrutar de uns refrescantes mergulhos para os mais atrevidos ou aproveitar para simplesmente admirar em silencio todo este soberbo habitat natural de beleza incomparável. Após uns bons banhos no Rio Paiva, retomaremos viagem de regresso ao nosso ponto de partida em escamarão para dar por terminado os nossos serviços. Quer tenha ou não uma ideia do que gostaria de fazer, quer seja a primeira vez ou já tenha experiência... todos vão ser capazes de realizar os seus projetos! Depois de uma pequena conversa e de vermos alguns exemplos, vamos pôr a "mão na massa" e dar asas à imaginação. Trabalhar o barro é experienciar algo muito relaxante, ao mesmo tempo que desenvolvemos a nossa criatividade. É a experiência ideal para partilhar com o seu companheiro, filhos ou família! Através de uma técnica ancestral e o contacto com a natureza, criamos memórias felizes! O Workshop inclui os materiais e a cozedura. O envio, caso seja necessário, não está incluído. Se pretenderem que vidremos a peça com transparente, será cobrado à parte (cozedura e vidrado). O valor depende to tamanho da peça.

In this experience that lasts 4 hours, we will paint with natural colors, but first we will search for pigments in the most unsuspected places. You don’t need to go far to discover the most suitable vegetable, rock or tree that gives a special tone. While we are exploring, you will learn about Serra da Estrela ecosystem, the role of flowers, animals, geology and humans in the making and transformation of this mountain. We just need little fragments to make a natural color, so the impact in nature is minimal. You’ll learn the diverse processes to achieve different colors and, then, you’ll paint with them. At the end we’ll have a small meal with local and traditional foods. Neste workshop propomos que pinte o seu próprio azulejo tipicamente português ou que escolha umas pequenas peças de cerâmica feitas por nós, e que as pinte a seu gosto! A Cerâmica está bastante presente no nosso território e na nossa História. Assim, desafiamos-lo a juntar-se a nós, de modo a conhecer melhor o que nos caracteriza e como o fazemos. Se optar pelo azulejo, propomos que pinte o seu próprio motivo, ao seu gosto, ainda que inspirado pelo azul e branco, por se tratar do azulejo com mais expressão no país. E se acha que não sabe desenhar ou que não tem ideias, não se preocupe, nós temos uns pequenos truques que irão ajudar. Se por outro lado, prefere pintar umas peças de modo a poder utilizá-las no seu dia-a-dia, propomos utilizar tanto engodes como vidrados, de modo a que tenha uma noção mais plena das diferentes opções e técnicas que utilizamos. Percurso pedonal guiado pelos premiados Passadiços do Paiva, entre a Praia Fluvial do Areínho e Espiunca, complementado com a aventuresca travessia da maior ponte pedonal suspensa do mundo, a 516 Arouca, situada no Km 1,5 da caminhada. Ao longo da Visita Guiada, iremos interpretar os principais pontos de interesse geológico, como a Garganta do Paiva, a Cascata das Aguieiras, a bela Praia Fluvial do Vau, a Gola do Salto e, no final, a Falha da Espiunca, sem esquecer os aspetos da biodiversidade. No último caso, com sorte, até poderá ver lontras.
