Best things to do in Vienna

Palace
“Very touristy, I have to admit. But also still the most beautiful park in Vienna, my favourite place to go for a run as well or just sit down in a nice corner and read a great book. There is a very nice café really close called Café Nook.”

Between the KHM and its mirror the Natural History museum, a statue of Maria Theresia watches over the treasures within,From a vast coin collection and unforgettable pieces of ancient Egyptian and Greek art, to rooms dedicated to great European masters, it's a treasure trove of art history. “This gigantic palatial complex and gardens is split into Upper and Lower Belvedere and served as a summer residence for Austrian princes in the 1600’s. The two palaces themselves feature amazing architecture and stand out royally in the gardens – Upper Belvedere has a detailed façade with green domed semi-towers while Lower Belvedere has a simpler design; both palaces face the stunning gardens. Sights at the Belvedere Museum include the two palaces which hold a staggering collection of artwork and decorated staterooms and the expansive landscape gardens complete with pools and an Orangery.”
