Escuela secundaria es mencionada en el "Guiness Book of World Records", es que cada piso esta en nivel de tiera plano.
  • Overall, we had a great experience in Bisbee. It started off a bit rough because we never got the information regarding check-in which caused us to not be able to get inside the house. This wouldn't normally be a big deal, but it was tough because it involved us walking up and down 100 stairs with luggage and a baby. Once we got inside the house, however, we quickly forgot and settled in. The home was very nice and accommodating. The outdoor space was great--especially the view of the stars. Thank you!

  • Beautiful property that's been lovingly renovated. Felt at home immediately. Highly recommend it to anyone.

  • The Casa Don Cristobal was a updated, gorgeous place in the heart of the historic district of Bisbee. I was there with my parents and brother and the home felt very spacious. The patio was fantastic and I wish I had an extra night to spend more time on it. Yes, Bisbee has a lot of stairs and there were 90 steps from Main St up to the apartment. Just look at it as a way to work off the margarita calories. Juan was prompt with all responses and information. The only downside is how close the house is to late-night talkative neighbors standing outside. I'd recommend bringing a set of earplugs just in case.

  • We discovered this gem during our SW roadtrip - we'd not made any plans ahead of time as we never knew where we would end up each day and luckily happened upon Bisbee and Casa Don Cristobal! We only stayed one night and wished we could have spent our entire trip in this amazing place and town. Juan was super responsive and the house is beautiful. The climb up the stairs to the house is part of the charm and what makes Bisbee such a cool town. The views from the beautiful patio and garden are amazing! The house is comfortable, with a beautiful kitchen and lovely fireplace. The beds are so cosy and we are already dreaming of our next vacation and hope to come back and stay here!

    Michelle2014-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • Juan's place was great! We never used the air conditioner but just slept with the windows open and the fan on. Super clean and they had everything we needed. Wish we could have spent more time enjoying cooking out on the patio and hanging out at the house. The directions to the house were not very clear, but once we found it, it was super easy getting there from above or below. (Park at 81 Main street ad you will see a staircase that goes up between the buildings. Take about 100 steps up and you are at the gate of 81B). Hope to be back again! Come visit us in Steamboat Springs or Laramie sometime Juan.

  • The pictures do not do this spot justice. Such an adorable and comfortable place. My friends and I had a blast and I will definitely be returning in the near future.

  • From the very beginning it was beyond expectations. Juan's home in Bisbee is amazing! On all of our trips to this magic little town we have stayed at another house, I wanted to take a chance and try something different. We are so glad that we did! We will be using this place again for sure. Be sure to get your legs into shape before you go though it is 87 steps up to the house. But it is all worth it once you get there. The patio is beautiful giving you views of Old Bisbee & B Mountain. Walk down those 87 steps and you are standing in the heart of Old Bisbee. Location is perfect the house is perfect and we couldn't have asked for more. our only regret was that we didn't know there was a massage chair for our use. Next time we are at Casa Don Cristobal that is the first thing we are doing!

    Jinia2013-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Our second stay at Juan's place and, again, we loved the place and the proximity to everything in Bisbee.

  • We had a great experience here! The location is great!

    Josh2017-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the historic character of our room at the San Jose! It appears like thoughtful renovations are in progress. We did feel as though the room could have been slightly cleaner, and the list of amenities updated to reflect what is provided in this particular unit. Overall, though, we though it was a great value and location, and made us really feel the history of Tombstone.

  • This was a perfect place to stay if you are wanting to tour Tombstone. A very short walk across the street gets you into the center of town and all the action. The room is clean and quiet and there is plenty of parking out front. I was in room #4 and couldn’t hear traffic from the near by Highway. I’ll be staying here again on my return trip!

    James2017-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I had a very pleasant stay in Tombstone. Although the house is very old and thus has its charme it is in could shape, meaning clean and well maintained.

    Maik2017-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Cool central location.

    Gerry2016-12-02T00:00:00Z

  • Anne is amazingly prompt and helpful in her communications and her rooms are tidy, comfortable and conveniently located. For the price, you get a bedroom, bath and separate living room/full kitchen area (complete with a complement of western films on DVD!). We found it a bit pricey for a one-night stay of our sort, but would be great for a family or extended stay!

    Julie2017-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Rustic building and decor. Beds were comfy and warm. There is no thermostat to control the heat but a space heater was provided. Tile floors on a cold night made its use necessary. Only a block away from all the action.

  • Conveniently located in the Tombstone Historical District. Quaint, quirky and just perfect for the locale! Clean and perfect for a family of four! We needed last minute accommodations and we were taken care of! To experience Tombstone and get the authentic Wild West experience, this is a perfect choice!

    JIm2017-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • You can't get closer to the main strip. Decent sized rooms. Not sure why pots and pans were provided as there was no stove. Comfortable.

    Nicole2017-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great location within walking distance of everything. Clean and well stocked. Our kids really enjoyed it, too. The only issue we had, it was a little warm in the afternoon and we needed an extension cord to make the AC work, unfortunately the manager wasn't able to get us one until 7pm, at that point the temperatures had dropped enough we didn't need it. Other than that we enjoyed our stay very much and it didn't ruin our trip.

    Raquel2017-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Convenient to downtown, historic building, hostess helpful with directions. Beds very clean but a little saggy.

    Diane2017-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this room! It fit the 'feel' of Tombstone exactly! And the location was perfect. When we come back to Tombstone we plan to stay here again!

    Pilar2017-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • Anne's place is quite unique! It is an old building so the back bedroom is not air conditioned, which is not ideal with summer temps. It is in a prime location within ideal walking distance to any of the tourist attractions Tombstone has to offer! I hardly like to give a rating below 5 stars but when I was scowled at by the office manager when I asked for help with my room key, who also proceeded to smoke nearly a pack of cigarettes 8 feet from my door, I just can't do it. The room was nice but for $100+ I will not be staying here again anytime soon.

  • Angela, your place is just incredible! Loved all the local design touches. We watched the movie Tombstone and had a great time! My daughter wanted to steal one of the bunnies in the yard. So cute. Great airbnb unique and adorable place to stay! I hope to come back.

  • This is a beautiful, comfortable, and cozy place. It's not far at all from the famous Allen street, just a short walk to all of the tourist attractions. The beds were clean and comfy. The space was cozy but abundant and the decor was magical. But what struck us most about this lovely place, with the gorgeous yard and outside sitting area (there's a two person swing by the way!), was the host. Angela and her husband were the kindest people. If they're available to help they'll do that and more. We took a great behind the scenes tour with them and learned new things about Tombstone! Their family is lovely. Angela truly did not hesitate to make our stay more than exceptional.

    Ana2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • It was really nice place! I like the antic furniture and accessibility to Tombstone town! Angela gave us prompt feedback. Thank you so much!

  • The Allen St. Bunkhouse is the place to stay for a cozy and relaxing stay in historic Tombstone. We fit 5 people very comfortably, made coffee that was left ready for us, and spent time outside exploring the beautiful surrounding area. Angela is nothing short of a terrific host. She was quick to contact me when I got lost (I'm just no good with directions sometimes) and so friendly I felt like I was speaking to a relative. The moment we left town we all expressed our desires to return for another night or more soon. If you want to have a short walk into town, and feel pampered for the entirety of your stay, book with Angela! You won't regret it. We can't wait to go back!

    Tyler 2016-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Place far exceeded my expectations! Very quaint with its Western decor. My kids loved the bunk beds tucked away in the kitchen. There were snacks and every amenity necessary for a fun family weekend. Super close to all the sights of Tombstone. I would stay again and highly recommend!

  • Angela and her family were so awesome! Very accommodating especially because our kiddos and the hubby didn't want to leave and we were able to stay an extra night! Very clean, fit 6 of us easily, walking distance to all the shows and stores in old historic tombstone! Very easy to communicate with as well, we will most definitely come back that has been noted by the family !

One of the few original Tombstone 1880's adobe homes. Built in 1881 it originally served as a wagon repair works next to the old forge and charcoal yard. Located near the corner of Third and Toughnut Streets, across from the Courthouse, it is close to everything on famous Allen Street. The observation deck offers a commanding view of sunrise and sunset as well as passing stage coaches and stargazing. Note that this is a rustic 1880's home with antique items, please treat gently.
  • You can't beat the location of this historic home! Literally steps away from all the amenities Tombstone has to offer. The upstairs deck was the highlight.. sitting out there in the evening and then in the morning watching the town come alive was awesome! Catherine is a great host! We look forward to returning soon!!

  • Yehaaawww!!! You want a spot that's so close to the action that you can smell the gunpowder from the Peacemakers? This is the place. Add in the fact that you have your own quiet home, not jammed into the middle of a bunch of tourist. This is the place to hang your hat. Catherine was super sweet and helpful for all of our needs. Next time you need a place to hitch your faithful steed, I strongly recommend the Pink Adobe. You will not be disappointed!

  • I could not of asked for a better first time experience with Airbnb. Bev was very flexible & accommodating regarding our check-in time & our decision to extend our stay. Accommodations were clean, comfortable, & made the two of us feel at home. The view from the back porch is amazing! In fact, we decided to forgo evening activities in Tombstone so we were able to watch the sunset & gaze at the stars. We also enjoyed our coffee the following morning on the back porch. Further, we were very excited to see all the wildlife that call this area home!

  • What a great place to stay! Nice and private just a couple of miles from Tombstone with spectacular mountain views and visits from the local wildlife. Coyotes singing in the distance and mule deer in the back yard. Beautiful! The home is immaculate with all new furnishings, bedding and appliances. Bev was a great host! It was a perfect spot for two couples with bedrooms and bathrooms at opposite ends of the 75' mobile home. We'll be back!

  • I think we hit the jackpot with our first Airbnb experience. This location allowed my parents and my family time to visit while having an opportunity to still be a tourist. We all loved the location, tucked back away from "town." I do believe my son spent more time outside than in which is always best for a kid. We loved seeing the wildlife roam around as well as catch the stars and listen to the bugs at night. The house was super clean and offered everything we needed - including all the cookware and utilities to cook all our meals. Perfect spot. Thank you!

Tombstone Silver Nickel Cabin is located about 2 miles north of Tombstone on a ranch road. There are many hiking & ATV trails with historic sites to explore! The cabin is a fully furnished studio that sleeps up to 4 guests. The amenities are a queen bed, a wardrobe, queen futon sleeper, a full kitchen with cooking utensils, a bathroom with shower, A/C, electric heat, Verizon cell phone coverage, TV, DVD player, DVD movies & books. Great for couples, solo adventurers & small families.
The Tombstone Silver Nickel Cabin was named after the Silver Nickel Mining Company, which was a former owner of the property. No mining was done on the property. The home is located on 5 private acres of open desert, on a ranch road, about 2 miles north of Tombstone, off of historic Middle March Road. This was the route originally used by the U.S. Cavalry to travel from Ft. Bowie, Arizona over the Dragoon Mountains to Ft. Huachuca, Arizona during the latter half of the nineteenth century. The home sits atop a gentle sloping hill, with a great view of Tombstone and an amazing panoramic view of nearby mountain ranges. Sit on the front porch and enjoy the serenity of the desert, wildlife and nearby mountains. In the evening, sit around the camp fire & enjoy the spectacular starry skies and the lights of Tombstone. We provide the firewood. Hike or ride your ATV’s on local ranch roads and trails. Local destinations include historic 100 year old railroad beds, Cochise Stronghold in the Dragoon Mountains and the Coronado National Forest. We are just minutes from Tombstone, but near the middle of nowhere!
You are the neighborhood, since you're surrounded by at least 20 acres of undeveloped high desert. That's why the Tombstone Silver Nickel Cabin is the "Tiny House with a BIG View".
  • I cannot say enough amazing things about this great couple! Wow! The cabin was so charming and literally had EVERYTHING I needed and more. From the fresh milk in the refrigerator for my (Website hidden by Airbnb) a wine opener for my wine they have it all! Fresh towels, linens, and very very VERY clean! LOVED IT HERE SO MUCH! The views are breathtaking

  • We stayed in the cabin for a couple nights as a getaway with our dog. The cabin was adorable, very clean, and secluded. It was a short drive to tombstone where we spent a couple hours, and also a longer but easy drive to Bisbee. We were very comfortable in the cabin and John and Gwyn were great hosts! They made sure we had everything we needed to have a great stay!

    Angela2017-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely fell in love with the Silver Nickel Cabin. It is so peaceful and quiet. The hosts, John and Gwynn are delightful, and very gracious. They met us when we arrived and helped us become familiar with the cabin, which has everything you may need to enjoy a quick get away, or extended visit. It was so refreshing to just sit and listen to the quietness. In the evening we watched as the sky lit up with millions of bright, beautiful, stars. We recommend staying here if you're looking to escape from the hurriedness of life. No television, no internet, no radio. Just beautiful, serene desert.

  • The cabin was amazing and couldn't have been the best place to get away and spend a little time in the outdoors. We loved every minute. It was close to town but just far enough away to feel like you were in the middle of nowhere, which is what we wanted! Thanks for a great get away!

  • Great place to stay if you like being a little off the beaten path. Gorgeous views and a peaceful area to enjoy nature. Cottage is well-furnished, and comfortable. John and Gwyn were wonderful hosts and super nice!

  • I loved John and Gwyn's place, Super clean and comfortable and in a beautiful part of the world, away from people. I highly recommend staying here

  • My husband and I loved our stay. The cabin was spotless and the view was breathtaking. We saw two deer walk by within minutes of checking in! We'll definitely be back!

    LaDawn2018-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • The Silver Nickel Cabin is a fantastic place to stay and I wish we could have stayed longer. The views are wonderful and there are many rabbits, quail and other birds to watch. Inside, it's quiet and comfortable and incredibly clean. The kitchen has everything you need to cook pretty much anything you bring along and the full-size fridge would make an extended stay very easy. Be aware there is no TV (didn't miss it a bit) and no WiFi but I had perfect 4G reception. Gwyn and John are a friendly couple that lives next door and they were waiting for us with the key when we arrived and gave us a quick rundown on the amenities. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Tombstone.

  • This hideaway was just that. Listening to the birds in the morning and watching the sun rise from the porch was a great way to start the day. There was coffee, juice, and farm fresh eggs as well. Not to mention, I am not technically savvy but once I figured out the chrome feature for the TV my husband and I got to relax enjoying our favorite shows on a big tv all from my phone! Big and small comforts alike. A wonderful home away from home. It was so comfortable and welcoming from the moment I arrived and to the time I left with Kristen taking me to the airport to catch my flight. I look forward to returning to the hideaway in the future.

    Connie2017-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • Kristen, thanks so much for your attention and accommodating us with our late arrival. Kristen's Hummingbird Hideaway is a secluded gem! We just loved all the cottage had to (Website hidden by Airbnb) was cozy and perfect for our family of 3 and pet. Fresh farm eggs, juice and water waiting for you in the antique refrigerator, fruit on the table and the kitchen had all the cooking amenities needed for our 3 day stay. There are so many more personal touches, that made our stay very comfortable. Kristen thought of everything! If you are looking for a cozy country getaway from city life, this is perfect, yet close enough to town for a quick run. The space was very clean and the linens exceptional. Lots of cute decor and rustic essence gives this Hideaway its well deserved name. There is only one air cooling unit in the master bedroom, however, at night we opened the windows and circulated the fresh rain air with the ceiling fans, which we could never do in the city. The cottage has its own private yard hammock included, and Ou 12 year old enjoyed visiting the chickens and pig too. If we have another opportunity to visit this part of Arizona...Hummingbird Hideaway is 1st on our list!

  • Awesome place to stay!!! I highly recommend this place. We have family in Sierra Vista and Tucson so this place was perfect for visiting both!

    Jeanelle2017-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Nice little place tucked away in the mesquite trees. We really enjoyed our short stay at the hideaway. Kristen is an excellent hostess and answered our questions very quickly. The farm fresh eggs were a real treat along with the orange juice and coffee. It was very relaxing to eat breakfast on the porch, listening and watching the birds. The place was very clean and well stocked. We'll be back next time we're out this way.

    Cindy2017-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • The Humingbird Cottage is an excellent place to have peace and quiet. Away from the crowds in town, it was a wonderful place to recharge after a day of tourist activities.

Who needs a big space, when your yard is 55 acres?! Amazing night skies, in a cozy retro camper...the good life! A little out of the way, but a lot of peace and quiet, AND breakfast from the farm. Options include massage, acupuncture, shared gourmet meals, excursions and more! Join us in our new Cantina & WiFi Cafe! Play pool, enjoy card and board games, charge your laptop/tablet/phone, imbibe in homemade beer & wine, pickup snacks and relax! Solar shower and flush toilet, a short walk away.
This is a wonderful little camper, and a work in progress. It has wood floors, a propane heater, stove, cooler, sink, and ample closet space. We will be upgrading this little gem, and are offering the space at a deep discount until then. Solar shower and flush toilet, a short walk away. Note: solar heated showers offer the best experience in the afternoon, when the sun has had time to heat the water. Heated morning showers are not available. Join us in our new Cantina & WiFi Cafe! Play pool, enjoy card and board games, charge your laptop/tablet/phone, imbibe in homemade beer & wine, pickup snacks and relax! Shared meals are offered as an option, as well as other retreat services like acupuncture, massage, chiropractic, nutritional counseling, outdoor excursions, and more! Free continental breakfast and coffee or tea, each morning. Note: This is an off-grid experience. The camper does not have electricity. We do provide places to charge your phone or computer, solar and battery lanterns. It's a tiny camper, but surprisingly spacious and roomy. Two can sleep on the bed platform, and, if needed, a third person can sleep on the table area that converts to a single bed. We DO NOT recommend open-toed shoes. Please pack appropriate camp clothing for the weather.
We are a working small-scale farm and ranch, in the gorgeous foothills of the Dragoon Mountains, home of Geronimo and Chief Cochise. We honor that history by preserving and taking good care of the land where they once lived.
  • BnB greatness! Lots to tell, but the stars and the views are very special. For instance, on a clear, moonless night one simply cannot pick out constellations. The stars are so many and so bright it's more an unbroken carpet of lights. My photo of the Huachuca Mountains across the San Pedro Valley, about 40 miles southwest, immediately drew over fifty positive responses on (Hidden by Airbnb) . Another gem, the hens came over to visit, then started light pecking at the front bumper of my rental car. Cleaning the bugs! Thanks girls - I paid them with crumbs from my complementary breakfast muffin and they thought that was just grand. At this time of year the desert was pretty lush thanks to the recent monsoon season (my visit was in October). This doesn't look like TV and movie deserts but it is the real deal.

  • This is our third trip to Alisa's property and it won't be our last since we had an amazing time (as expected). It is always so fun to say hi to the animals and have the "glamping" experience. We love the firepits and enjoy reading in front of the campfire when we are there. The optional add on of breakfast and dinner is well worth the additional money. Alisa's food remains fantastic, both the vegetarian and meat-eating options. Phyllis and Alisa always have fantastic hiking and sight-seeing recommendations as well.

    Jewel2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • I very rarely leave reviews. I felt the need to leave one this time. The hosts are two of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. The adorkable camper was simple, comfortable and as described. They have a great thing going there and I hope they continue to expand what they are doing. The farm is secluded, but central to all the sites to see, and hiking to do. This was my first airbnb and they have set the bar high for future hosts. I will be staying with them again on my next trip to AZ and would like to try some of their meal offerings and other accommodations.

    Brandon2017-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts at this site make the experience of staying on a small animal farm wonderful and adventuresome. They made me feel welcome and a part of the farm family. I really enjoyed my stay even though I was a city girl way outside of her element. If you appreciate and want to experience sustainable living done with heart and style, this is a place not to miss.

    Deanna2017-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The camper just the cozy experience we needed for a little weekend getaway. The farm animals are so sweet and friendly, the sunset stunning, and Alisa and Phyllis are warm, down-to-earth, true-blue hosts. They clearly love their life on the farm--which is completely eco-friendly-- and how they are able to share it with others, and this is reflected in the kinds of experiences they offer their guests. We only stayed one night and left in the morning, but next time would love to doze on the hammock or sample their homemade beer and wine. We ordered the full breakfast and it is highly recommended (Alisa is a remarkable cook!) and went home with delicious, fresh eggs. Thanks Alisa and Phyllis for your wonderful hospitality, I really enjoyed talking to you both, and hope to see you again!

    Amália2017-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • Super cool! We got massages, had breakfast, and hiked with the goats. The stars are amazing. So happy we took this detour.

    Lizzie2017-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place was exactly what I was looking for. Alisa was great to work with and is a mean cook! The farm animals were fun and great to meet with other campers on the ranch!

    Tony2017-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • This place was just what I needed for a couple nights. I would say you get what you pay for because, yes, it is a small camper and nothing glamorous but the hospitality is outstanding and made it an incredible value for the price. I would love to come stay for a week and help out on the farm if they’d let me!

Camp under the stars, outside of Tombstone, in the historic foothills of the Dragoon Mountains. Site includes fire pit, Solar shower and flush toilet, a short walk away, access to WiFi cafe and Cantina, gift shop, and comfortable hang-out spot. Bring your own gear - tent, bedding, mattress, cooking equipment, etc. This listing is ONLY for a camp site. (Airbnb apparently shows this as a "real bed," which is NOT accurate).
  • DEFINITELY camp here if you are in the Tombstone vicinity. Driving over the lovely Dragoon mountains to get to the ranch was magnificent. The stars are big and bright. Her dog is so friendly. Alisa will provide you with anything you need including Wi-Fi, pool table, coffee and muffins. Best camping so far.

  • I was looking for a unique experience and an inexpensive a place to stay during an adventure in Southern AZ and so I could go to The Concert Without Boarders in Douglas. This was everything I needed and the price was such a deal that having to drop out of my first of two nights wasn't even a big problem. This spot is a bring your own shelter/bed campsite even though Air B+B states "real bed" (we were allowed switched to the slightly more secluded and raised wooden campsite because of a vacancy but I wouldn't expect this perk if busy season) with basic amenities plus Non-streaming wifi access after a ~100ft walk (no ATT or useable wifi in camp but that might be a plus ).

    Aaron2017-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time camping here! We saw lots of wildlife on our drive in from the Cochise Stronghold, and enjoyed meeting the farm animals, especially the baby goats! Hope to be back soon!

  • We loved campaign there, almost as much as our two older dogs loved it. Thanks for a great weekend.

    Jen2017-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • When driving through Tombstone, you look at all the crowded RV parks and thankfully continue on by out to this wonderful ranch. Our hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was exactly what we appreciate when going camping, rustic, animals and scenery. The one regret I have is not trying the dinners available because from our breakfast experience I can only imagine how delicious they would have been. An excellent experience with wonderful people I can happily recommend to others. We did get a special treat of having some newborn goats arrive during our stay.

    David2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • This is our 2nd time staying at Alisa's beautiful gem in the desert. We used one of her camping sites and it is just as it is described. You need to bring your own tent but there is a shower, toilet, etc within few steps from your tent site. The farm animals are really friendly and the night sky is just spectacular! Now they added the 'cantina' in the main house, which is great hangout spot with wifi, ping pong and pool tables, and fresh coffee in the mornings. This location is perfect to explore southern AZ, great hikes in the area include the Chiricahua Mountains and SIerra Vista (Ramsey Canyon, etc), or even venture south of the border! There's a cool bar in the nearby town of Elfrida (15min-drive) to grab a good drink and decent food. Absolutely recommend this place!

  • Alisa was a really wonderful, welcoming host and I loved staying here! She offered excellent recommendations for activities in the area, and even took the time to tell me about her favorite spots near my next destinations. The shared common roomed helped facilitate meeting our fellow guests, but each unit was far away enough that everyone had their own space and privacy. I'd highly recommend staying here, or in any of their other units!

  • Camping in January may have not been the best idea on my and my boyfriend's part, but Alisa and Phyllis were fun, friendly, and accommodating. Will make special arrangements for snowbirds wishing for an extended stay - special rate - message for details. Oak cabinets make the RV light and bright. Great view of pool from entry door. Mountain view from front windows. Sleeps 4 comfortably but more if kids are small. Jackknife sofa makes into double bed and dining table also becomes double bed. Close to historic Fort Huachuca, Tombstone and Bisbee.
The RV is set up in our back yard. For snowbirds we will set up at Thunderbird RV Park. This will give you access to laundry, full hookup sites, including electric, water, sewer, trash and free WiFi. There are shade trees throughout the park. Facilities include nice clean restrooms, a swimming pool, a Rec room with exercise equipment, cable TV, billiards, games and a kitchen area. There is night time security patrol in the RV park.
Older neighborhood with wonderful neighbors. Close to shopping and restaurants.

  • We loved our stay at the Agave Suite. We were delighted at the rustic decor and the setting is spectacular. Cochise Stronghold is a magical place and a historic paradise, We appreciated the chance to chat with Nancy prior to booking. That was both helpful and reassuring. Great place to hike. The short historic trail at the nearby campground gave us some moving and timely insight into the history of Cochise.

  • The Agave Suite was exactly as advertised. Secluded and quiet. Spent hours watching the birds, chickens and even deer. The stars at night sitting in the hot tube was spectacular. Hiking the Cochise Stronghold trail right up the road was beautiful as was the view from the room. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

  • The whole experience was fabulous. Nancy and John are so sweet and welcoming. The perfect hosts. They love this land and this place and you feel so welcome to be part of it. The Agave suite was perfect for celebrating our 22nd anniversary - comfortable and private. The hot-tub was exquisite - we even had a super moon! And of course words can't express the beauty of the Stronghold. the 6 mile hike to the divide and back made the perfect day. Thank you!!

  • I have stayed at many B&B's and have done a fair bit of travelling-but this spot will remain one of my favourites!! Nancy's location is in the heart of one of the most beautiful natural spots I've ever been to. We loved all the books that explained the history of location-the bed was one of the most comfortable and the hikes-right out the back door=perfect!! • My girlfriend and I loved our stay at the Tiny House! Phyllis explained to us all the house's features like the compostable toilet and the solar powered LED lights as soon as we got there and it was a really fun and interesting night enjoying the the beautiful desert surrounding Alisa and Phyllis's farm. The house was fully furnished with all the kitchen supplies, furniture, and books/games we could've needed. We got to meet all the animals, including a precious week old baby goat <3 Communication between me and Alisa was really clear, which made finding the place easy, even without any cell service. Phyllis and Alisa were really friendly, fun hosts and I would highly recommend a stay here!

  • The drive to Alisa's when the light was golden around 5:30 was breathtaking!!! Her directions were great, but I wouldn't advise going after dark. It was well worth the drive, and The Sweet suite lovely, which doesn't come through with the pictures. I really enjoyed getting to see and pet the animals, especially the Kashmiri goat! I was sorry due to timing I didn't get to taste her cooking, which from what other reviews say, is incredible! Thankyou Alisa and Phyllis for my night in the Sweet Suite!

  • My husband and I weren't sure what to expect when we landed at Alysa's place, so we were in for a very pleasant surprise. Phyllis greeted in person as we drove up to the ranch, and we were treated to a tour of the animals, meeting each one and learning their names. Alisa served fresh coffee with goats milk and fresh fruit for breakfast, and even went out and bought my husband black tea for the second morning, since he wasn't fond of the choices she had available. She also made us amazing sandwiches to take along with us on our hiking trip into the Chiricahua Mountains. If we head that way again, we will definitely treat ourselves to one of her gourmet dinners. The room was extremely spacious, and we enjoyed the sounds of hens and ducks "talking" to us each morning and evening.

    Jean2017-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • We'll definitely be back!!! My best friend and I had a 10k early in Tombstone. We picked Alisa's because it was not too far from town and a great price. We didn't get out of work until late and didn't make it there until about 12 at night. We didn't get to meet Alisa but she left the light on and door open for us. It was perfect! The room was so cute and very very clean and Alisa was very accommodating to our schedule. Our initial plans was to get there early Saturday and go horseback riding. So we will definitely be back to do that!!

  • Alisa provided a great place of solitude and spectacular sunsets. There are incredible scenic spots to visit within an hour drive.

  • Alisa and Phyllis' place is very unique. My father and I had a wonderful time there. Their welcome and their advices transformed our last week in Arizona in the best we had. We even had the chance to celebrate Thanksgiving with them, what a treat ! I can't recommand their place enough. Thanks again for everything !

The Cozy Bear Condo is a wonderful getaway whether you are in town visiting family, enjoying the warm sunshine of Arizona, or if you're here on business. Cozy Bear will give you the quiet peace you need to refresh or to prepare your presentation.
Cozy Bear was designed to be a quiet, relaxing place to hang out with family or friends, or to unwind after a busy day. We feel that bears get it--they sleep when they want to, they eat when they want to, and they relax as they want to--and that's how we feel you should be able to live your life while in our care.
The neighborhood is very quiet, filled with professionals with day jobs and a few retirees. There are a few children, but not many.
  • definitely would recommend the place was clean , cozy , and felt like home . Also it’s a great location close by local stores very convenient.

  • Great place to stay for the value! A little difficult check in and there was no ironing board. Other than that the place was amazing!

  • This place was awesome. Very clean, neat, and set up well. With me, my son and wife, we had no problem feeling right at home. Julie ensured the house was stocked and that we were enjoying our stay. She was a great host with an awesome place, I would recommend to anyone looking for a place.

  • What a great host and a great stay. Julie was very accommodating and sweet. She even brought us groceries. Very thoughtful. If we need to come back to Alta Vista we will definitely ask for her space. Very clean and easy to find!

  • Just what I needed. Julie was there when I finally arrived making sure the place was perfect for me. She let me in n showed me the place. Made sure I was logged in to make finding entertainment easy. Beds n pillows were super comfy and the Keurig is always a bonus but Julie went above n beyond with creamer options. Overall a great stay.

Easy access to all of southeast Arizona; highlights include: Kartchner Caverns State Park, Tombstone, Bisbee, Coronado and Chiricahua National Monuments, Sierra Vista and Historic Fort Huachuca are twelve minutes away, Great birding, hiking, and site-seeing throughout the region including the Las Cienegas National Conservation Area and Ramsey Canyon Nature Preserve. In addition, twenty plus wineries are all nearby.
What makes Whetstone Abode stand out is the completeness of our home and the amenities we offer. We are in a quiet and peaceful community within minutes of all Cochise and Santa Cruz County attractions. Great views of surrounding mountains, beautiful sunsets and star-lit nights. Pretty much everything you'll need is right on site. The kitchen is fully functional for cooking, baking & serving. So, there is a full set of dishes, pots & pans, bake-ware, flatware & kitchen utensils. There is a programmable 12 cup Hamilton Beach coffee maker, a tea-pot, a blender, a toaster, a mini-chop, an Acme juicer, a bread-maker, a waffle maker and a crock pot. There is a nice variety of dried herbs and spices in the cupboard. There are coffee filters, paper towels, paper plates, paper napkins, plastic bags, foil wrap, plastic wrap and kitchen towels. We do not serve meals as part of your stay, however, when we’ve had long-term guests we do enjoy sharing a brunch or dinner with them on occasion. The refrigerator is empty. It is a double door & the freezer is also empty. It does have an ice-maker & we have well water that is very pure & delicious. There is a blow-dryer in the bathroom, as well as soap, shampoo & conditioner. We provide clean sheets & towels (including 2 terry cloth bathrobes & 2 cotton bathrobes.) There is also a first-aid kit. The house has a washer & dryer, along with liquid detergent & fabric softener sheets. There is an iron and ironing board. The back patio has a seating arrangement of bamboo furniture, picnic tables, and there is a propane gas grill. If you are coming from I-10, there is a large Walmart in Benson that you could stop at to buy groceries on your way in, before turning onto Hwy 90 south towards Sierra Vista, to get you started. Otherwise we are 3 miles north of a Dollar Tree & a K-Mart, and 10 miles north of Sierra Vista. The second bedroom has a single bed and also a desk with a computer that is connected to the internet, but there is no printer. We have had guests who do a lot of their work on their computers, and so far there have been no problems with this. There is a full entertainment set-up in the living room, with a 55" flat screen TV, surround sound, streaming Netflix, Amazon, and many more options. There are a few different types of bed pillows, so there should be something that meets your preferences. There is also a queen size down duvet. There's plenty of drawer space & hanging space with hangers, and closet space for your suitcases. I'm trying to be very thorough so you'll know what to anticipate. Often our guests ask specific questions and I hope all of the answers are here. We try very hard to make life as easy as possible for our guests. If you have any questions, or I've left anything out, please don't hesitate to let us know. We appreciate knowing our guests' arrival time & hope to greet you when you arrive. We really enjoy being an AirBnB hosts. We have met so many very nice people. I'm happy you've decided to spend your time at our place. My cell-phone is (520) 266-0102 Steve’s cell-phone is (520) 236-8623 Please don't hesitate to text or call with any questions you might have. We look forward to meeting you, Your hosts, Valley & Steve Tyminski
We are in a quiet neighborhood, with no small children living nearby. There is ample off-street parking if you are towing a rig or traveling in RV.
  • We only spent one night at Steve’s place but it was a welcome experience to find something so close to the Kartchner caves when we wanted to do a last-minute trip out to Benson! Our hosts were so hospitable for this short-notice trip. Thanks guys!

The house was clean and Steve and Valley were the perfect hosts- very kind and very easy to communicate with. The location was great, on a spacious parcel of land. Don’t hesitate to stay at Steve & Valley’s, you won’t regret it! We hope to be able to return again someday!

  • The space was very clean and well supplied with linens and towels. The bed was very comfortable and there were extra blankets if we needed them. It was great that there was a play station 3 and games to play and cable connection for our computer. If we come back to the Sierra Vista area, I would try and rent this space again. It met all of our needs. I highly recommend this space.

Enjoy a little peace and quiet in our lovely adobe guest house filled with southwest and Native American art. Located on 5 acres in the San Pedro National Riparian Area, take in the sights of the Sonoran Desert or the restaurants and shops of Bisbee, Sierra Vista, & Tombstone. We are a 5 minute walk to Riparian Area Trailheads and a short drive from the Huachuca Mountains. Or sit on our patio and enjoy the deer, hummingbirds, & quail that stop by!
The guest house is located right next door to the main house. We are on 5 acres about a quarter mile from the San Pedro River. The whole guest house is yours and has a full kitchen and bath and a fireplace. We do not have have TV service but there is a TV and DVD player along with some movies. The large patio is a wonderful place to enjoy the famous Arizona sunsets.
We have just a few neighbors who are all very friendly so do not be surprised at waves from the car.
  • Was in town for a wedding and this place was perfect. It was great to have a quiet place to wake up in the mornings, as well as wind down in the evenings. Valerie has a great place set up. If you need a place in the middle of town, this isn't it. That's the best part of this place in my opinion. It's still plenty close to anything in Sierra Vista. Safe travels everybody

    Cody2017-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great location - easy to get to trails and other sites of interest. Beautiful sunsets, dark night skies, and very quiet. The area has some other homes but is otherwise away from the hubbub. It's tucked into some hills near the San Pedro Riparian area. The fall colors of the cottonwoods along the San Pedro in November were beautiful - and the San Pedro has water in this section of the riverbed which made it more interesting for birding. The guest house is comfortable and bright. It is full of interesting memorabilia from kachina dolls to international harvester model tractors, and decorated with some nice art. We enjoyed the patio and grill - and were visited by the local deer and some large eared jackrabbits.

  • Perfect size and a perfect home base to explore southern Arizona. We went to Douglas, Bisbee, Tombstone, Sierra Vista, and Tucson. The cabin is cozy, comfortable, and homey. Lois was hospitable and great to chat with in the mornings before heading out. We really appreciated all the little details like toiletries, snacks and games. I had so much fun browsing all of the unique books. The cabin is close enough to the city for easy access and dinners, but far enough out that we saw wildlife and amazing stars at night. Thanks! Would definitely rebook No Tengo Nada if we go back to the area.

  • My overall experience with "No Tengo Nada" was pretty good. The place was very cozy and there ware plenty of supplies. Valarie was accessible when I locked myself. She came right away to help me out.

  • Private, quiet and close to birding sites. The kitchen was well-equipped and lots of exposed interior brick added charm. We would return.

  • Very nice place to return to after a long day out. Valerie and Lois are gracious and welcoming. Lois has a wealth of information about the area. Very quiet and dark at night, for star gazing and a good night's sleep. Spacious enough for a long stay. Close to Birding on the river and on our April trip these birds were seen while having morning coffee on the patio: Barn Swallow Black-chinned Hummingbird Black-throated Sparrow Brewer's Blackbird Broad-billed Hummingbird Brown-crested Flycatcher Gambel's Quail Gila Woodpecker Green-tailed Towhee House Finch Lesser Goldfinch Mallard Mourning Dove Orange-crowned Warbler Pyrrhuloxia Turkey Vulture Turkey Vulture Verdin White-crowned Sparrow White-winged Dove

  • This is a wonderful place to stay in the country. The pre-stay communication with Valerie was great, and Lois (her house is across the drive) shared wonderful stories of earlier times in Sierra Vista and was just generally a delight to talk with. The accommodation is very attractive and comfortable. only sorry we could not stay longer. Highly recommended!

A spacious get-away nestled amidst desert trees in view of the breath taking Dragoon Mountain range. Living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and bedroom spaces. 12 foot by 32 foot roofed patio allows for indoor/outdoor living. The only sounds you are likely to hear are those of the coyote and other desert friends. There is a telescope available to view the amazing night skies. We also have a ground set fire pit for roasting marshmallows and enjoying the mountains at night.
Plenty of comfy space and large windows for panoramic views of the desert and mountains. Privacy provided by trees that abound on the property. A metal roof covers a concrete porch area that provides a Weber grill and dining and patio furniture for your comfort. There is a copper bowl fireplace on the patio. You are at the base of the Dragoon Mountains and under a sky in which the Milky Way is visible on clear nights.
You are only 15 minutes away from our little town of Sunsites, where just about anything you want or need is available (Lorraine's Patisserie, a Dollar Store, a Beauty Salon that offers manicures/pedicures, massages, and facials,...). There is a grocery store called the Produce Wagon that stocks most food needs for all types of diets (Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free and Lactose Intolerant) only 15 minutes away on Hwy 191. Within a half-hours time, you can visit the historical town of Willcox. Little more than an hour in any direction are a variety of sites, such as Tombstone, Bisbee, Kartchner Caverns, Fort Bowie and the Chiricahua Mountains. We have nine wineries within this area for those who enjoy trying wine made from locally grown grapes. There is a general store/gas station in the town of Sunizona. It is recommended that you fill up when passing through Benson or Willcox.
  • What a wonderful slice of paradise! I was passing through the tucked away spot in Southern AZ while on an extended road trip and was looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat. My expectations were well exceeded! Theresa has built a wonderful escape from hectic life in her private piece of the desert. The RV is well equipped, very spacious and private. The best part is the patio with spectacular views of the neighboring mountain range and open desert. I walked around the property and saw all kinds of birds, desert creatures and beautiful plants. Theresa greeted me and welcomed me to the area. She left me eggs and coffee which was a great surprise. She was very friendly and helpful but then also left me to enjoy my privacy. I will for sure be back!

  • Beautiful property and view of the mountains. A perfect place to get away from the city and relax. Theresa and Ron were great and we loved our stay.

    Maxx2017-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • Theresa's Place/Nancy's Nest is tucked away near the Dragoon mountains and offers a scenic and quiet stay. The stars steal the show at night and you can even see the Milky Way. Listen for the coyotes at dusk, it sounds like a chorus of sirens. We really enjoyed our stay.

    Patty2017-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay! We just wanted a simple getaway for our 3rd anniversary and this turned out to be the perfect option. It was overcast when we arrived and eventually rained all night and into the morning. That was so beautiful! Ron greeted us when we got there and showed us the place. We ended up borrowing some games and played them inside the trailer while listening to the rain. A day before we checked in Theresa contacted me and said that they would have to cancel because there was an leak in the black tank. I contacted her and we figured out a way for us to be able to come and use some facilities at their house. She offered to let us stay a free night of our choosing for the hassle. When we got there Ron told us that there turned out to be no leak, so everything was working out fine. Regardless, Theresa was good on her word and we will be staying there again sometime in the near future free of charge. They are wonderful hosts!

  • Theresa and Ron were great! I loved their trailer airbnb, it was very clean and comfortable with an amazing view. Just like in the photos. A little decorated for xmas too, which was a nice touch. Everything we needed. We had a great time!

    Stephanie2016-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic stay at Ron and Lynn's place. The location is off the beaten path and provides a peaceful and quiet getaway. The RV is extremely cozy and has all the amenities you'd need with a well equipped kitchen. Ron and Lynn were extremely thoughtful and had the fridge stocked with creamer (vegan and dairy), locally farmed eggs and some other goodies. The night sky was surreal -- the Milky Way was clearly visible on two of the nights along with many constellations which are not usually visible in big cities due to light pollution. We spent quite a few hours enjoying the sky by the fire (thank you, Ron, for the firelogs!!!) and roasting marshmallows. Tombstone, Fort Bowie and other attractions are less than an hour away. Coming back after a day of exploring and being able to eat dinner under a starry sky made our trip extra special. Now on to the important stuff: - There's an awesome grill in the patio which you can't see in the picture. - The patio/front of the RV faces the mountains and provides total privacy from the main house. - If you're going for the sky views like we did, make sure you're there EARLY, right before night falls. You won't be able to see much once the Moon rises. - Ron and Lynn were very respectful of our privacy. - Critters! We had a javelina visit us in the morning and quite a few coyotes at night.

    Jen2016-11-18T00:00:00Z

This is a cute guest house in the heart of Cochise county, in a little town called St. David. It is located near Tombstone, Bisbee, Sierra Vista, Benson and Kartchner caverns. The house is neat and clean. It contains all of the amenities needed for a home base for site seeing and visiting anywhere in the county.

  • The place was clean and it being detached from the main house provided a great deal of tranquility and privacy. From the house, it's about 45 mins to the Sheepshead parking lot. St. David is a very small town with only a few shops, but fortunately Benson was not too far away and we were able to find everything we needed there. Craig was a fantastic host; he was very responsive every time I needed his help and he shared with us many things to do in the area.

  • This was a great place to stay for the weekend in little St. David. The home was very cute and clean and in a newer neighborhood. Had great TV, Internet, and kitchen appliances. The house is spacious and leaves more than enough room for 2. The bed was nice and comfortable as well. Very good price for such a nice place. Definitely recommend this to anyone needing a place to stay in St.David for the night.

  • This is pretty much a scam. I think the guy owns properties around town and has people living in them running them out and then when somebody wants to rent a room he just finds a room on one of his properties and sticks u in there. There was no toilet paper, no toiletries, no towels, the shower was totally and completely filthy full of little hairs all over it and dirt. He sent me to a whole totally different house then what was advertised. The bed wasn't made and we had to wait hours for him to bring a sheet. We had to stay a night after we had originally planned because he said the room wasn't ready. Even though it is only $20 I don't believe I would recommend staying in one of this man's properties at all to anybody

    Dawn2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • We had a four days reservation and came to the address that John had listed at 8pm, a lady opens the door and says that she knows nothing about our reservation and "there is no room for rent here". She also said "This has happened before". She then called her landlord, John, for us. 5 minutes later he showed up in his pick-up and asked us to follow him. We did not like it, and said we had made plans to every day go back and forth to Tombstone (30 min away from 35 W James Pl -John's listed address). John assured us we would be closer to Tombstone, and we decided (also because of the late hours) to follow his car. A pick-up with one tail light.. The city lights disappeared, the houses disappeared, our mobile Internet service disappeared and the road turned into a dirt road.. John took us to a totally different location close to Hereford; a 30 min drive to the South and then East from the address his place is listed with at AirBnB. According to our gps we were 42 min from Tombstone (we were SO glad to have the GPS!!). Anyhow; we found ourselves in the desert, very rural and quite close to the Mexican border. It was spooky, we had a bad gut feeling and almost left without even entering John's house. John came back out and convinced us to at least have a look at it. The kitchen and the bathroom were exactly like the pictures -which means he had *deliberately* given us a wrong address! Our room was small and had two single camping beds, not made ready for us. The livingroom had one couch in the middle of the floor and a big tv. An older guy and a dog also lived in the house. All our warning lights were blinking as we thought this could have been the starting scenes of any American horror film.. We talked with John and explained that this was not what we expected. John started arguing, trying to convince us that all was like it should be. Neither me nor my husband thought we would feel safe and actually fall sleep there, so we decided to leave John's place. We rushed away until we had internet back up on our phone, stopped, found and booked a hotel in Tombstone. Two hours after we left Tombstone, we were back. With a scary AirBnB experience. If it had not been dark outside at check-in/while we were driving/arriving at John's real address, we might not have been as spooked as we were.. But going off the grid like this, no one (neither friends nor family) knowing where we were, was really not ok. AirBnB finally refunded our booking, but we ended with accomodation much more expencive than we had planned for. Lesson learned: as an AirBnB guest you are responsible for documentation that proves your host is cheating. How to prove that in the dark: keep...

  • We stayed at this house for ten days and it was a home away from home. We found it super relaxing, and the value was incredible. We will stay here again! The three beds were comfy and had wonderful bedding. There was a ceiling fan in each room for comfort. The kitchen was socked well with dishes, pots/pans. The location was a nice, quiet neighborhood, and the neighbors were friendly. The house is in a good location for local shopping, and for day trips to Bisbee, Tombstone, Patagonia, and Parker Canyon Lake. The place was very roomy for us - two adults and one child. Recommendations and reviews I think depend on the season in Sierra Vista. When we arrived, it was hot during the day and cool at night. So, we were able to open windows and use fans most of the time. We used air conditioning for just a few hours during the day, and that kept things nice and cool. We are from the pacific northwest, so not quite used to heat. It was awesome to have a garage to park our car inside so it wasn't out in the heat all of the time. The pool - we will say that one of the reasons we chose tis house was because of the pool. The cover didn't really work as described. It was 85-90 during the day, and the pool only heated to 67 degrees with the cover on. We needed a warmer pool for sure. We were only able to heat the pool if we paid a few hundred dollars more for our stay, so we chose to do that. It might be nice to explain that upfront. Further, it was daily management for my husband whenever we wanted to use the pool. We still think it was a great deal - the house for the value, and highly recommend it for long-term stays. Best deal around and good accommodations. Arji was wonderfully responsive to our communication.

  • The property was exactly as advertised. I'm very pleased with my stay.

  • We had a great experience here! We didn't get into town until very late (about 2 am) and had an issue getting into the house. Arji returned my phone call within 5 minutes and helped us through necessary steps, which was great. The house is in a cute, central neighborhood and close to Tombstone and Bisbee. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely stay again when we're in town, especially considering we were able to have our dogs stay with us.

  • This is a perfect location to see all the fantastic tourist sites in southern Arizona. Tombstone, Bisbee, Karcher Caverns, Pima Air & Space museum and more. Sierra Vista is a great size town that offers many dining options and has everything you could need like Walmart, grocery stores and such.

Lovely and comfortable adobe, stone and wood home in a remote location in Cochise Stronghold. Peaceful and quiet with exceptional hiking literally at your back door. The Cochise Stronghold Canyon (elev. 5,000 ft), is uniquely situated in secluded woodlands surrounded by granite boulders soaring 7,000 feet. Whether for a casual hiking, climbing or bird watching, the cabin offers a comfortable and serene starting point. Two decks offer different views to relax and watch the wildlife and the stars.
The canyon is famously known as the final refuge (and resting place) of the great Chiricahua Apache Chief Cochise. This rugged natural fortress was, for some 15 years back in the 1860s, the home and base of operations for Cochise and his people. Many wonders await you in the canyon - hiking interpretive trails, bird watching, traversing gentle boulders, climbing world-class cliffs, and incredible stargazing! There are miles of trails to explore the unique ecology and geology of the area. Here you can fill your days and evenings with the honest pleasures of life…you will feel as though you've stepped back in time to experience the enchantment of the Old West. There is campground a quarter of a mile at the end of the road. There, interpretive trails take you amid the boulders and among the junipers and oaks. This canyon has few full-time residents. You may (if you're lucky) see one or two friendly neighbors walking or driving down the dirt road during the day but generally, the canyon is quite secluded and quiet. You'll have full access to the comfortably decorated cabin, including two bedrooms (a queen bed in each). A toddler bed and twin rollaway are also on site. The living room has a floor to ceiling rock fireplace (and a comfortable and sleepable couch). There is also a modern kitchen, a full bathroom and two patios from which to enjoy quite different views. Enjoy a short or extended getaway to benefit from nature's serenity. While we promise it may be difficult to leave the cabin, there are some great local excursions we recommend -- the Amerind Foundation, and local wineries and pistachio farms -- and longer excursions to the Chiricahua National Forest, Bisbee (a quaint and now artsy former mining town), Kartchner Caverns (largest wet cavern in the U.S.), Tombstone (the famed “town too tough to die"), and lots of smaller ghost towns along the way. The property is pet-friendly but it's not wise to let any pet run unattended. We ask that guests stay for a minimum of three nights to offset the cost of cleaning/maintaining the house. If you would like to stay for less than three nights, please send us a message, we'll get back to you. There is Internet/Wifi access, a large flat-screen television with DVD player (no cable/satellite) and a great collection of movies, a few board games, and a small mountain bike to take jaunts down the trails. There are two bedrooms, each containing a comfortable queen size bed. There is also a very nice, quality fold-up single bed with a temperpedic-type mattress in the second bedroom The master bedroom has an ottoman that opens to a child/toddler sleeping mattress. The couch in the living room is one of the most favored sleeping areas. Comfortable bed cushions in the master closet serve as additional sleeping or resting areas.
The hiking trails are magnificent, but one of the best aspects of our house, in particular, is that it is right up against the granite cliffs so you can start hiking up boulders right from the backyard patio. Put on a pair of gloves (in a bin in the laundry room) and have a casual or challenging walk or climb up the canyon. Even a ten-minute walk up through the boulders will give you incredible views of the canyon.
  • Had an excellent stay at the cabin. The views during the day were amazing as well as the stars at night. Perfect place to get away. David was always prompt with responding to emails and was a great host. Would definitely recommend!

  • David's place was great! We booked this place for over a month and arrived to a fully stocked house with everything we could have needed. Location is beautiful, with an incredible boulder-filled mountainside right out the back, campground down the road, and creek right out front. This place blew us away and we'd definitely book again!

  • Thank you for a great place for our extra guests. Everything was perfect and we wish you well.

  • Four of us stayed for 4 nights at David's cabin in the Dragoon mountains during the last week of March, and it was perfect. Calling it a cabin isn't really accurate -- it's a comfortable house with everything you need to live there -- cooking utensils, herbs, aluminum foil... even a dishwasher, washer and dryer, and a grill on the patio: unexpected perks. We had a few questions during our stay, and David answered us right away. It's in a beautiful quiet spot, even though there are neighbors nearby on the road. You can easily walk to the Cochise Trail that goes over the Dragoons, bird along the road in the morning, sit on the porch for wine and cheese 'til dusk.... why aren't we still there?! It's a great spot for lovers of the outdoors. I hope we can get back there someday.

  • We stayed at the cabin for our honeymoon after our wedding in Tombstone and it was amazing. The cabin truly feels like home and made us wish we could stay longer. Our love of the Old West brought us to this location and the local history and residents did not disappoint. Such an amazing area and our hosts made our stay comfortable and accessible. Will definitely be back for another stay!

  • David was extremely responsive before and during our stay at his Cabin in Cochise Stronghold. The location is excellent. No need to drive anywhere to go for a hike, since the trailhead is just a few steps away. The setting of the cabin is outstanding. Highly recommended!

  • Well maintained and well organized get away. Good communication between guests and host. Hope to visit again soon. Easy drive from Tucson to cooler weather and a serene environment. Short walk to Coronado National Park trailheads. Well stocked with items one might forget to bring, from the usual toiletries to spices, dishware, gloves, hats, and DVD player with a nice selection of movies.

  • Great house in a perfectly idyllic location! Cochise Stronghold is spectacular, and the Adobe Cabin is a wonderful spot to take in some stunning views of the canyon and the babbling creek. David was helpful at every step of the way and his instructions to the house are spot on. Enjoy the perfect peace and serenity Cochise has to offer!
