An amazing experience! The family are all very friendly and made us feel right at home. We were shown around the farm and he explained the work he was doing which was all very impressive. The lake views are something I cannot even describe and the meal they prepared was over the top. Thank you for a most memorable experience and I will definitely be staying again! Moat Hai Bai Yoat!
Homestay was okay. Make sure you ask for the price for food before accepting a meal.
We didn't stay long enough to get a chance to do any of the activities on the lake however Tuong was really inviting. Things to note, your own transportation is necessary as his place is removed from bigger cities. Also, breakfast is free consisting of crepes and watermelon and tea just know that any other meals and water are not. Sleeping is done in a dorm style room with all other house members with personal mosquito nets as shown in the pictures.
My place is close to Thac Ba Lake. you come to the countryside and stay on the stilt house, the view to the lake the mountain and the ricefiel. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. take a boattrip could be nice and walking surround these village are beautiful.
